Anyone care to wager the odds that old Alfred will have a higher AV than the League of Assassins generics we're sure to get in the set? 10 AV on Alfred is just stupid.
Let's Play "Whoizzit?"
My Avatar is an as-yet-un-clixed character. If you know who it is, be the first respondant to correctly identify this character I'll send you some free rep!
Wow batmans support friends are so crazy good its crazy. Why does Batman get all the good support? These men are just that men, they seem like run of the mill DC gods. Now I can use Morgan Freeman in that really obscure movie roll, Alright!
way too many 17's for an elderly man, i suppose old man strength is responsible for his ability to deal damage to a character with invulnerability, use him and a robin alone vs. the wrecking crew for the win!?!?....... crimney!
I was saying the same thing. By giving Alfred 17 and 10 , WizKids is basically saying that Alfred possess the same combat and defense abilities as Spider-Man and Captain America. And Defend? Seriously? And then to give it that dumb name to justify it.
This isn't Alfred at all, but a low-level superhero or super villain dial.
It seems since Hammer of Thor, and especially since Brave and the Bold, WizKids just seems to arbitrarily hand out powers, not based on comic accuracy, but just to hand them out for whatever reason.
Bombastic Bag-Man, Nightcrawler, Alfred, Dum Dum Dugan, Agent Coulson... all have powers they shouldn't have, and that is just to name a few.
Seriously WizKids... get a grip. Assign powers based on the character... not on some asinine mission to make very character some uber-playable min/max piece.

Yeah, that Alfred is ridiculous. And not in a 'wow, cool' kind of way, but in a 'WTF were they thinking?' kind of way.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
As already noted, I agree... but what was wrong with the Brave and the Bold figures? The only power set I remember as inappropriate was the White Checkmate Knight. (Outwit, Enhancement and Super-Senses for an intelligence specialist generic... pull the other one.)

Explain what powers nightcrawler has that aren't jusrified.
