One of my favorite nasty tricks for pure amusement value is Outwitting a figure's Battle Fury and then Mind Controlling them. As many of the figures with Battle Fury have high damage potential, this can be an unpleasant surprise for the opponent.
I like using mind control to move hulk up onto the top of the vents on the top of the building, then mind controlling his L/C so he cant move at all. This can also be done with TK and outwit.

Figures you need: R Hawkman 32pts., R Mandroid Armor 28pts., 1 E Doombot 33 pts., 1 E Firelord 81pts., 2 V Paramedics 24pts.
Mandroid armor TK Hawkman 8 squares away (1 action). Doombot taxies Firelord adjacent to Hawkman (copying JLA movement for free move). Hawkman then taxies Firelord (free move) for a nice Shot on the meanest guy, medic or taxi. By this move Firelord can hit an enemy up to 24 squares away (thats the whole map). I like it but it is uneffective against a stealth team that gets the first action.

MC somebody (big) over to my Sinestro (or Sentinel, doesn't matter) who's already in the dropoff point. Instant-big-points, and all you have to do is hit twice.
Here's what I like to do. I take an Experienced Whirlwind and a Veteran Taskmaster with one taxi each. Usually Doombot V and something else. I base these two figures against the opponent. Next I have Taskmaster perplex up Whirlwind's damage (and maybe more if there is another perplexer in LOS). Then Taskmaster declares the Sinister Syndicate team ability and Whirlwind can then use Taskmaster's high attack rating to make two attacks using Flurry. If the figure is still around, Taskmaster attempts to finish off with BCF. The key is to make sure that niether figure is attacked before this combo attack.
My favorite was in a 600 point game I had a 200 point sentinel and about ten perplexers.Second move of the game I perplexed his ange to 16,did a running shot,and took out his medics from the back of the map.It was all over then.

Unluckily, according to the FAQ, the vents are blocking terrain, not elevated terrain.
In a 700 point DC Good vs Evil tournament I ran today this guy ran a pretty awsome ploy, similar to the Sentinel one above.
He had a 300 point Sinestro sitting in his starting area and this was on the Adventure map (I think) that has a small building (with inside rooms available) surrounded by grass and a pool. Well, he had Harley and DeSaad next to his Sinestro and V Brainiac 13 taxi'ed Darkseid into the Building. Then they just MC'ed everyone to run out to the Sinestro who then, having thier Def outwitted by DeSaad, got seriously blasted since HQ perplexed Sinestro's damage or AV up as needed. Two shots for 4 clicks of damage pretty much does everyone in.

MC my opponent's heavy hitter in btb with my stealthed IC U Elektra and let her go BCF-crazy! My best use of this was pushing my opponent's Ultron by MC-ing him with Vet Prof.X.
ok heres a nasty one:the team is 2 avalanches 2 blizzards gambit and boomerang.i position the avalanches and blizzards around the opponents team then on my next turn use the 2 blizzards ta make a wall with barrier all around the enemy ta make a lil box with an opening convenantly right where gambit and boomerang are standin then i use gambit ta fire an energy explosion into the box of enemys.then on my next turn i repeat the process with the avalanches and boomerang.and ta make things nastyer add a scarlet witch in there fer probability control and put mr fantastic in the box with em so they cant move,granted mr fantastic takes damage too but hes taking one fer the team.oh and this only works with a 300 pt or more game.

hm yes firelord punch him i am sure after 2 clicks he wont hurt you
or just tking people out of hindering into the open arms of Nightcrawler( most people with stealth have 16 or lower def)
i also like using a variant or the whirlwind task master thing with V of both

he may not hit the first time but after task does he probally will with the second
i was wondering for the moe do you aply the clicks as a whole or do def powers work agaist each fig
ex- if they both hit thanos and task rolls a 4 does he take 6 (4+4-2) or 4(4-2+4-2)
