Glad to see I'm not the only one who really dislikes vehicles, barring some kind of rules revelation from WK I actually hope most venues ban them like they do the gauntlet. But I guess only time will tell. If the Batmobile has a really nice sculpt I may consider getting it for collection purposes though.

These vehicles are nice and all but I think they're too complex of pieces for many players to enjoy playing. And whoever said these are just glorified pieces of "movable blocking terrain" was right. Can you even destroy these vehicles during game play? Haven't seen or heard about that issue yet so I thought I'd ask the question.
If I get any of these vehicles it will only be to put on my fireplace mantle at home.
When destroyed, vehicles become Ultra-Heavy objects. It's on the back of the card(s).

I believe that GD thought HeroClix was too slow. that's why damage values are through the roof and there are so many gap-closing powers like HSS and Teleport My Enemies and why everyone and their mom ignores breakaway and terrain; and, of course, why 50 points carries your entire team halfway across the map.
As an aside, I believe these vehicle dials are completely debunking the power-creep defense theory that new figures are better for fewer points because of their short dials. It turns out 10 clicks of life comes pretty sa**in' cheap so the fact that the old Namor had a couple extra clicks wouldn't offset the massive increase in stats and powers as had been previously proposed.

what people are forgetting though is that Autopiloted vehicles take a click of damage after any attack they make and piloted vehicles without a pilot take a click when attacking.
i still think these vehicles seem a little overpowered, but I like what they're trying to do.
Yeah... no. Not going to buy any veichles, hope the other players at my venue let them sit on the shelf as well. (Odds are about 40% -would be 60% if not for our completionist judge.)

But, eh, vehicles aren't my cup of tea at all. How cheap you get all of that is also not very promising for the future of this game. Seriously, who wanted this junk?

I like the mechanics being introduced, but I do worry about the vehicles ending up being "movable terrain". I doubt that's what will happen, though.
My only thing is that I wish that the vehicles had a few less clicks. Their defenses aren't monstrously high, but that's still a lot of damage to have to deal just to put one down. In low point or turn/time limited games, that could be an uphill battle.
But it is a fair point that they are a nice chunk of points. The piloted Jet and a pilot will cost you a huge chunk of a 300-400 point build. So maybe that's how it was playtested? I dunno. I get what people are saying, but I'm inclined to wait until the piece(s) get out into the game to see if they're going to be that negative of an impact.

Yeah, but the unpiloted jet takes up the same number of points as these figures, all of which were considered really good for 50 points:

There is something odd/not going on here regarding GD and playtesting. Some of these pieces are considered top tier pieces, and yet they don't come anywhere near the effectiveness of that jet.
