Im a total completionist I gotta catch em all like pokemon, but this batman set is looking so garbage that I think im going to have to completely skip it. The sculpts look great but someone forgot how to design a dial. Too expensive to be a good tie up, not enough going on for support and too expensive. Not strong enough to be a secondary attacker because he is too expensive. I look at dials like this and then look at 125b starting version of Iron man and go wow.

What I fine amazing in this thread is just this last Monday how Blackbat means that this is going to be a great set. Now with Maul, people are writing that this is the worst set ever. Just with one figure. I find that amazing.

Why is everyone complaining? do people really think that EVERY figure needs to have constant tens and always be attacking? This guy is amazing for his role: defense. he messes with enemy placement strategy and provides a meat shield for the rest of your team.

if you think this dial is garbage, you are not playing the game to its full potential.

In many ways I agree- too many people want point and clickor some min/max gimmick, etc. But really, this one is understandably taking some heat. Its just too many points. By a lot! It is worse than CPT Comet in my opinion.

he has close combat expert on 5 clixs of his life has a total of 8 clixs and has super strength all his life for 113?! if he lands, damage will be delt plenty

Then after looking at the figure I started reading this thread.... whats wrong with you all? Does every character need to have 9s and 10s at the end of their dial? Sure he has a 7 attack, but he has a 4 damage with Close Combat Expert and Super Strength! Seems like an even trade off to me. And heck, if you dont wanna attack with that 7 why dont you use that Regeneration he has (while still being priotected by Impervious)!!!!

Starting out he can be TK'd or carried because he's normal size, he can pick up and destroy objects and he can use Perplex. You get damaged a tad or feel like pushing and *BOOM* you have Flurry! His defense just gets better and better and that damage power is just crazy good (ohhh look, I can ignore just about everything when moving and can use CCE from 2 spaces away!). And that defense special on his last click.... you can use Regen and try to bump back up or try your luck attacking for massive damage while being protected by the best defense power in the game. Oh, and he's less than half a 300 point build.

This guy is awesome and all you haters are looking at him with jaded lenses.

This guy just might replace my 2099 Hulk as my low pointed crazy giant damage dealing sonofagun. I dont see where all the hate comes from

for ppl complaining, you must know nothing of the character. if void is in this set(she should be), his speed and no charge will be null and void(no pun intented)! sometimes folks forget this is a TEAM game. his perplex will help grifter, zealot, warblade, and i'm sure spartan(should have running shot up front). i think his dial will surprise ppl. not everyone will be running morgan le fey folks, calm down!

QFT! also voodoo should have prob control too. maul will do more work if used correctly. not everyone is point and click. some figures take something call strategy! just because he looks like a hulk type character doesn't mean he has to play like one!

I'm not complaining, but with a 7 attack score and 6 damage? If he hits with that then the target deserves the 6 clix.

My stuck in the 80's sense is tingling. This will make a great mod for Tusk of the Dark Riders from the X-Men.

well another lack luster piece for Batman. really not sure what they were going for with this guy. he's neither and attacker or a good tie up, he kinda falls into the category of over priced support.

his stats and powers don't justify the cost, gonna play him cause i love WildCATS, but he's pretty terrible, not even good enough for casuals.
