You misunderstand me. I can read the card now, I just didn't gain any profit...
Misunderstand I did.
Eh, you're on your own with that whole profit thing. If I tell you how to do it, you'll lost the motivation to do it on your own...or something like that.

Interesting dial idea. I like that you declare a boss and these guys become very annoying, but also have the potential to give you 40 points and keep giving it in a long term game if the "Boss" turtles.
That CTD is looking better and better.

So, just bring 5 of them with a 100pt figure, for a 300pt team, and unless the opponent can get through the 5 thugs and to the boss, they just keep respawning after 3 turns.

But you're giving up 40 points every time they hit the red line (which is basically a KO if you look at their dials). So that strategy will still have you lose the game on points...

Unless you win the game!

These guys are bad for casual games. At least for me, my games with friends go till the entire opponent's team is KO'd and these guys just keep on spinning round like a record while the boss lives...
1) The "or" in the power means you get one OR the other. Not both. It also does not give a choice. Following the wording of the power, you get the victory points for the character if he KO'd OR the number of times he hits a red line.
This means if he is KO'd (because the boss has been KO'd) you get 40 points ONLY.
If the boss is not KO'd, then this guy hasn't been KO'd and you get the 40 times the amount of red lines crossed.
This leads to point 2:
2) You can have fewer VPs and still win the game.
Your opponent can spend all his time plunking Goons if he wants. But if you have the last man standing, you still get the "W". Sure he may get some tiebreaker points, but the "W" is all important. Not to mention, if you are about to win the game, and can spare the boss. Get himself KO'd somehow and really cut those points down dramatically just to stick it to the other guy for not trying to win!
Do points really matter where you guys play? We do last man standing, and tie breakers come down to points, but we never have enough players to have two players with 3-0 records.

You're thinking of the use of the word "or" in English, not Heroclix. Examples are escaping me, but "or" can mean "and" in Heroclix.
