1)Thor and Loki will use Duo Attack, making the first attack against Pestilence. Rolled 3 + 2 = 5 for an exact hit with the Perplex, which would KO Pestilence.
Pausing to see if you want to use your themed team PC here.

Darn that perplex! Sure, I'll use it since he'll be kaput soon. Pesty will take the token.
Manager of the Heroclix Fantasy League's Legion of Super Heroes
At the beginning of the turn, I'll choose the Soul Gem with the special power on the Gauntlet.
Free) I'll use Perplex on Wolverine's defense value.
1) Thorki will use Duo Attack, attacking Wolverine with the first attack. Rolled 2 + 3 = 5 for a miss.
Second attack from Duo Attack will also target Wolverine, and this time I get 4 + 1 = 5 to miss again.
End of turn, I roll for the gauntlet and get a 1, now showing Invulnerability and the Soul Gem.

Wow, completely lucked out there. And it was the perfect time for a break. Had to go to a friend's daughter's birthday party and then a little get together with my sister's place for her birthday after that.
So what board games did you play? I have a set of friends that play board games the first saturday of each month and wish I could go but have to watch the kids most of the weekends. I was there a few weeks ago for the first time in like a year and a half and got to play Bang which I haven't in a long long time and Lords of Waterdeep. Pretty cool game Waterdeep is. They were comparing it to Agricola, which I forgot how to play since it's been years for that game.
In any case, back to the slaughter.

Most of our time was spent on Twilight Imperium, which is a Science Fiction strategy game that's fun, but more complicated than it needs to be, in my opinion. That's my friend's favorite game, so we try to play it periodically.
After that, we played one game of Evo, which I just acquired. Each player has a group of dinosaurs and are trying to evolve to compete against the others while dealing with climate change on the map. It was pretty fun.
I was disappointed that we didn't end up playing my other new purchase, Dungeon Lords. It's kind of like DND in reverse, with the players trying to build the best dungeons and NPC adventurers coming in to attack them.
