im sorry but why would you want three to start attached its a power action to detach them for them is it just so you can keep theme and not have to pay for 46 points worth of characters
plus making them indestructible just because they have no ko click would mean a person could field a whole team of nothing but flocks of bats and never lose do you really think they would make a ruling that would allow that??????use common sense
as for the attaching i think a is singular it a as in one why do you not understand English are you from another country then yes you might have difficulty with the English language but baring that its just you (referring to whoever wants to add more flock than one for free)
]next the batman super rare is awesome(caped crusader can not use flock of bat abilities period )i see people say oh lets give the flock a power action and reattach it for a free action to not have to spend the action token however it is still considered a non free action so counts for your action total for the turn that does not go away just because you attached them
i dont know i gots more to say but i could rant all day and untill a judge rules otherwise my way of seeing this could be wrong but who knows maybe im right for a change
both figs are great i dont see the need for some of these questions intent should matter for heroclix

Whoa. You lost me at "common sense".
Click here for a thread derailing rant. Don't click here to ignore (which is advised).
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Common which can mean widespread; general; ordinary; etc. is not some thing people should strive for. The average or common IQ has been dropping over the years; more and more common people are dropping out of school, using sloppy grammar, smoking and/or drowning out what brain cells they have left. Common is what has gotten us into these kind of messes over the way the rules are worded. The rules have been written by "common" people. Not by people that can use English well. Some may still hold "common" as the golden standard to which they live, but it saddens me to see "common" fall so far. Almost to the point of being insulting. "Common" is high schoolers getting pregnant; "common" thinking that their vote actual counts (2 words people: electoral college); "common" is thinking Will Ferrell is funny; "common" eating healthy is, not super sizing; "common" is going into debt, via credit cards, and paying for that purchase 5 times over; "common" is going to college and then working as a burger flipper; "common" is staying up way to late on going on pointless rants; "common" is snotw cknowinge dhowt otof mspelld cwoiijawef kcawcpoijwrefpomowef wiopjwemewf ewpojw ewpojew wdccopsdair nrwi8w dwaoe wdcpoiwefnoewr mcoldh zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Opps sorry, good night..
"Good sense". That works. I wish for people to have and use good sense. Life would be better with good sense.

how do any of those things pertain to the phrase common sense. just because those things are common does not change the definition of a word to suit your use of it. nice try to sound more intelligent than you are but you are also pointlessly nitpicking at the use of a word that is part of a phrase that has a bit broader of a meaning than..... all the sh.. in this world that sucks, because thats the way i interpreted your use of the word common. please become less ignorant the next time you respond to a post and that is not a flame just instinct telling me a bit about what kind of person you are
also despite most beliefs im pretty sure people who are involved with the writing of rules do indeed know hero-clix to some extent otherwise we would indeed have figures that cant die or can do really ridiculous things so referring to those rule-makers as common by your personal definition really quite frankly only enhances how foolish you seem to be

This is the second time in two days where I've seen you posting and thought "is he being deliberately offensive or does he not realize how he comes across?" If it's the former, since your posts don't have any particular merit as to content, I'll just ignore you. If it's the latter, you might want to be more aware.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

and how was the little box mrjcob posted any less offensive to me and it did not pertain to the thread either so either your picking favorites or simply did not pay attention to everything involved if im insulted or offended why is it overlooked but im immediately single out
i wasnt originally trying to be offensive it just seems like people always want to take advantage of all the little mistakes in the wording on a cards powers while trying to ignore the intent of the wording which is what should matter
caped crusader is awesome so what im still gonna one shot him with my superman and a heavy object or hit him onto his last click with big barda so why cant people take him as he is and just play. they always want more ,can i break this fig even further by interpreting these words this way.
one person even had the nerve to suggest that the bats cant die because they have no ko click come on that is just not gonna happen period....
The whole point of my little rant, is everything you complained about (I agreed with most), are the mistakes and thinking of common people. Basically telling people to fix their "common" problems by being "common". That made me sad.
BTW. It was advised not read that post. So since you like sayings, let me think of one for you. Lets try, "Hook, Line, and Sinker"

and that is my point you are using the word common out of context. common sense does not refer to being common which is why you need to just let it go. please just stop your starting to be so annoying ,and you haven't made a valid point since the beginning so just stop.

MrJcob provided a definition of common in a tongue-in-cheek comment about why "common" sense might not be so great, as opposed to "good" sense. Off-topic maybe but hardly offensive. Comments like "try to be less ignorant" and "enhances how foolish you are", on the other hand, are clearly derogatory. I'm not picking favorites, I'm pointing out that you tend to get insulting in your responses.

Ideally we play by the rules and they accurately reflect the intent. But regardless we play by what the rules say, not by what we think they were intended to say.
To the point about not being able to KO a FoB: a character is sculpt on a dial. When the dial turns to show KO clicks the figure is defeated. There is an exception for bystanders, since they have no dial to turn: any damage taken causes them to be defeated.
FoB is not a bystander, it is a character. The rules only provide one way to defeat a character: turn the dial to show KO clicks. Since you can't do that to FoB, it can't by the rules be defeated.
This isn't nitpicking, or rules lawyering. This is pointing out that there's a problem with this figure and the rules as written.
I would suppose we'll see errata soon to say that they are not bystanders but are defeated as if they were: I'm fairly confident that's the intent. But that's not what the rules currently say.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

So are the flock of bats bystander tokens or are they actually considered clixs. I just want to know to be able to build theme teams or not. If the flocks are attached to you get to use their powers like the grey flocks poison. I'm reading so much different info and I'm not sure what is what! Someone please clarify!

how in any way is this not an insult by his definition of common then referring to me as common then speaking gibberish how is this any way showing this mans intelligence
and as far as you saying the rules as written would allow them to not be defeated you know very well what was intended by these so does everyone else so are you really going to try that it is pure and simple rules lowering to try to say otherwise is deceiving yourself and other because you know full well that unless there were special stipulation (like for hired goon or mistress death)no character is beyond being defeated.this game would then become pointless because this is what you will see for teams everywhere
18x7 7 flock of bats (grey)126 points
15x6 6flock of bats (brown)90 points
13x6 6flock of bats (black)78 points
294 point x19 animal theme team that none of the team can be defeated do you really want to try and say this would ever be allowed?

they have been ruled as characters and the two figs who can attach them do have the stipulations for using their powers listed on their cards, but they are not yet sure as to whether or not the crusader can have more than one flock attached at the beginning of the game yet. hope this helps a little
As you said, "The Caped Crusader may begin the game with a Flock of Bats attached..."
"A" flock of bats. Singular. One.
So you're not technically wrong, as all of them (all one) are free...but that might mislead someone.
Im definately confused. Are you saying you can attach all 3 flock of bats without having to pay their cost. The way I understood it is that you could only attach one flock of bats for no cost.

Well that sucks you cant build a theme team with caped crusader and the FOBs. Thank You for the clarification. Im still not sure about what u mean with their powers though.
