-They will use Duo Attack, targeting Thing for the first attack.
Rolled 6 + 4 = 10 for a hit.
PC from Invisible Woman--rolled 4 + 4 = 8 for a hit with knock back.
TTPC from Spider-Man--rolled 3 + 5 = 8. Still hits, but without the knock back.
The Thing takes 5 clicks, and the heavy object is destroyed.

-2nd attack from Duo Attack will also target The Thing.
Rolled 3 + 2 = 5 for another hit.
The Thing takes 3 more clicks after his Toughness, finishing him off.

-At the end of the turn, I roll for the gauntlet and get a 2. (Close Combat Expert and "Beyond Mortal Limits" showing.)

I totally missed the previous one as well. Too late now. Defensive powers buried in another power/trait are so easy to miss. The 10th Anniversary Phoenix has been played twice at my venue so far, I think, and in both cases, everyone forgot that her trait grants her a modified Super Senses until she got knocked onto her last click with the power that says she can't use Super Senses.

And it cracks me up that you copied the "D'oh!" from me, because I don't regularly watch the Simpsons, so I don't even know why I say it.

Attacking with an object with TK is a ranged combat attack, so Sue wouldn't be able to do it with Thorki adjacent.

That said, I don't honestly see it making a difference at this point.
