The only benefit the characters receive now comes from another character's SP/Trait that affects "all characters with a shared keyword," like MU Professor X's perplex, or GSX Professor X's Cerebro.

These two figures were selling points on their respective sets until this new PG, so not only is Wizkids nerfing them, they're hurting their own sales. Good thing there's not a comparable product to this game with superheroes (yet).

This is just more of WK's ridiculous bullsheet. It's obvious these powers weren't supposed to work the way they're written. Every other errata for things like this was "when building your force"

Adding my voice to the "this errata is BS" chorus, not that I think it'll be of any help. GD isn't paid to care what we think of changes to the characters once they're in our hands. We already bought the product, we're on the hook. So what if the only reason you wanted DC10th Nightwing is to run an Obsidian Age JLA team? That's not their problem, it's ours. And it sucks.

And it sucks that GD would make a call to nerf figures that weren't particularlly broken when there are game elements like the Infinity Gauntlet and Utility Belt that are actually arguably broken. Why not pay attention to our comments and complaints rather than ruin figures that we actually liked?

Where is the HeroClix Game Design e-mail than, who do I have to e-mail for this to matter? I still feel everyone e-mailing the oranges, who I think some are semi-affiliated with the rule decisions, makes a difference.

Sadly this will probably not be changed back. It sucks. They took a very unique character element (that I personally felt was revolutionary) and just destroyed it. Not getting the bonus to map choice is huge and losing that advantage really hurts the ability to use this Nightwing.

I've posted a poll so we can find out what people really think. Maybe it will help to show how people really feel about this move.

Like the Ziran issue (which was slightly different) I doubt this will be changed. Especially since it's now in the almighty PG. I finally broken down and downloaded the PDF's on my phone as I'm sure I am going to need to have this for rulings at every event now.

It's funny I had my event last night and someone showed up with Nightwing, obviously not having read the PG that dropped yesterday morning, for our Theme Team required game. He was none too pleased to hear about this change.

But, like Ziran. I doubt it will be changed back.
