SECRET SOCIETY OF SUPER-VILLIANS Theme:
flash 031 Turtle = 50
flash 047 Zoom = 150
flash 056r Grodd = 100
TOTAL: 300 points
- This team is deadly, their powers speak for themselves. No need for resources or relics on this team. They break faces.
This is probably obvious but how is this team effective if Turtle gimps their speed?
Another awesome build was SECRET SOCIETY OF SUPER-VILLIANS Theme:

I'm not seeing how "awesome" this team is. What am I missing?

Whoops...My bad. For some strange reason and I cannot figure out how I missed that, but I have always thought that Turtles power was for opposing characters. After re-reading it I can clearly see it says "other" characters. You guys were right to call me out, because he is def not as cool as I thought he was.
However, I replaced Turtle with Flash 208 Rag Doll. That is still a great team. Grodd and Zoom work very well together.

It happens to the best of us.
That Rag doll is solid. I like him. Sounds like an effective team, though I still need to get that Grodd before I could try it out.
Zoom is very fun to play and has many offensive options. Hypersonic, great attack special power that makes him versatile, traited shape change, super senses, potentially get 3 probability controls that can be used simultaneously if need be on top of the regular themed team prob options...and pair him with 100 point Grodd who has a few mind tricks. He can wreck havoc in close combat....charge/flurry/object, but also rocks an 8 range..the 50 pointer is a filler tie-up outwitter...whats not to like about it?...It is fun and fast.
I guess the strategy is to be very aggressive and highly offensive with this team. Don't let the other team have time to get their bearings. As Hitler called it...Blitzkrieg

Thanks! Grodd is fun and powerful at either point value. He brings a lot to the table...175 points for a great ranged option top-dial, and 100 points for the brute beat-stick version. I love any figure with Charge/Flurry..I can just picture the action taking place in my head....a big gorilla wailing on a helpless man...HAHA

Yep, it does look like a fun team to play, but it's all close combat. Consider putting a ranged option in there somewhere for the sake of balance and so you don't find yourself being out-ranged.

Yea, good call, thanks. I will try to think of a different way to incorporate Zoom with some ranged friendlies. Grodd does have a range of 8, but I know what you're saying. A ranged attacker can make a world of difference. Sometimes I like going for the beat down approach! It's risky, but when the dice is hot, it's so fun!

Grodd at 100 points starts with Battle Fury; no ranged attacks coming from him.

Do you have Bullseye? He's a great straight forward ranged attacker.
GOTG060 Thane 115
GOTG028 Karnak 75
GOTG038 Maximus 75
FFGOTG006r Lockjaw 25
AVXS103 Fragment - Colossus 10
Sideline
GOTG018 Alpha Primitive 30 x2
I have not lost a match with this team yet the synergy is perfect. I tk Karnak out to pick up fragment which now gives him flight, a dmg reducer, and the cherry on top PENETRATING POISON. Thane deals massive dmg, Lockjaw either plays the role of transporter or dmg sponge. Karnak ties people up and is very frustrating to deal with. Then Maximus outwits and sends out the Primitives as a clean up crew.
Love this! I just built a similar one with Ms. Marvel instead of Maximus, and the Book of Skull. I like Maximus a lot too, but the extra Primitives being KOed by my opponent have come back to bite me in timed matches (I suck at taking time into account...)
Here's my Inhumans team:
GOTG060 Thane 115
GOTG028 Karnak 75
AVAS055 Ms. Marvel 66
FFGOTG006r Lockjaw 25
Book of the Skull w/ 4 hammers:
--Skirn's on Thane so he can't be tied up to shut down special PB
--Angrir's on Karnak for Steal Energy and Regen
--Nul's on Ms. Marvel because Willpower + Colossal Stamina is great
--Skadi's on Lockjaw so he can do a little damage while he carries
=299
You could also just save Lockjaw's hammer for a quake later. I like how Lockjaw can carry everyone if Marvel chooses Tiny, or someone else can carry her, or she could even carry with Giant and pick up an object.
Haven't tested it yet unfortunately
