I'm totally trying this out with the Sinister Syndicate, myself, but Madrox and Seven Deadly Brothers sound like a blast too. Mysterio sounds hilarious, since Mysterio + full book is only 100 points and leaves plenty of room for mischevious doubles and friends. I may even pull out my old Rocket Red Brigade (yes, the atrocious figures from Unleashed) for some cross-universe shenanigans...though it's really funny just because they'll STILL lose

Depending on the scenario, you are crazy not to use him for Fear Itself events.

Someone told me you can use the book for future Fear Itself drafts, I was wondering if this is true????

It is. You can use the book with hammers starting in Month 2 for the official FI sealed events, at least according to the rules for the events themselves. Check with your venue first.

sorry to bother Been trying to find a confirmation or something on the question im about to ask. Been reading this thread and seen a few guys complain that "ooh +1 stat is bit hectic on this etc" . but noone is commenting that so far each hammer is giving a character +2 attack to start off with. Thats 8 characters with a +2 modifier to their attack, nevermind what the book is going to give them.

Unless Im wrong (and Im hoping I am) and that when the card says "use the abilities as listed on the hammer" the +2 modifier isnt classified as an "ability" ?

The +2 is part of the hammer, so a character picking it up through the Book will indeed grant the +2 AV, as well as the +? to stats at various portions of the dial.

And if you want to see people complain about it, it is going on, just apparently only in other threads.
