I actually played clix today! At somebody else's venue, with a couple opponents there I didn't know. It was fun.
How I lost in the championship is downright embarrassing. Checkout Wonder Girl's trait. Then check out her last click. Seeing her power on her last click, I moved her adjacent to Superboy (he is a beast for sealed in this set) since he was double tokened up. But I forgot about her trait. What made it even worse is that I had to take a click of damage earlier in the game for the same mistake. It is so counter-intuitive and my focus was lackign evidently.
Anyhow, my opponent played a good game, and didn't panic when I had him on the ropes. He was down 142 to 0, then came back; one HSS kill at a time. Superboy had 2 clicks of life left at the end, but I picked a couple bad times to roll below average.
Quit leaving out the best parts of your trip! The hillbilly man-parts!
Good luck on your interviews!
The best part of the trip was watching the canoe 30 feet in front of me not follow instructions to stay out from under the low hanging branches, because of snakes in the trees. So of course a canoe with 2 morons in it is paddling along under the trees in the shade when a snake drops into the canoe between them. The guy in the back of the canoe stands up and proceeds to chop swing his paddle over and over again at the snake, killing it, destroying the block of Styrofoam in the middle and putting a small hole in the canoe. The guy in the front who I will call Stephen, because that is his name never even turned around or stopped paddling because he was deaf.
The snake turned out to be a non-poisonous variety, but I think I might have done the same thing.
And the interview went well. They gave me more paperwork to fill out and told me they would do a 2nd interview with a panel next week if I could get the additional paperwork back to them within 24 hours.
