Pretty sure if you played NML6 against brand new players it would be very easy to win...
Having a Batcave means very little when there is no context as to the type of players you normally play.

Guys I play with are amazing seasoned players and some have won pretty big tournaments in GA and are always a challenge. Unfortunetly there are no kids in our group, I imagine since it's highly competitive.
This will be my last response to you my friend I'm here to post constructively and not judge people's (or whole groups for that matter) skill. Way too arrogant for even me.

"Hey guys I gots a batcave, so I don't have to prove myself, I'm just right!"
Count out 22 squares from the Garden map SA (square 23) and tell me that isn't the entire map from the SA. Batman can cover the entire map. There is also 4 squares of blocking on the Garden map.
I know how Batman gets too them, I'm not sure on the garden how you protect batman. 4 squares of blocking that are immaterial they are not in or right next to your starting area.
Barrier allows you to place 4 squares of blocking, you could go 2 deep, im just not sure how this allows you to protect everyone on your team. all JLTB needs is 1 angle to get the shot in. 3 characters, 4 blocks across or 3 across 1 down..
Although Im starting to think you might be able to use a swarm of flock of bats and 1 barrier to protect batman....
I havent said anything about the other Team bases, Imo any team bases pt level that doesn't start with RS or HSS is beatable normally. Those that start with those combinations are much harder to beat.
With the JLTB being the cream of the crop, king of the hill..ridiculously op.

I wouldn't protect SW. Just Batman and GL. Wong would be back of the bus. I would prefer JL move down the map and waste all 3 actions to KO SW and take Mystics. Might save me the trouble of using TK on Batman w/ GL and use him as a secondary attacker sooner.
I'll just have to give it a shot soon and see what happens
I haven't played a team base nor have I been able to beat one, but I played in a 400pt. Golden Age tournament and the person playing the JL team base didn't win.
He lost to SI Dr. Strange + Brilliant Tactician, smokey feet Cap, FF Scarlet Witch, chase Spider-woman.
I don't really understand your question. I didn't use the 300pt Batcave team to fight the 600pt JL team base.
I'm going to try out this
139 BM053B The Caped Crusader
50 BM202A Bruce Wayne
100 NMLR200 The Batcave
10 NMLR200A The Batcave (+10 points)
299
On 300 pt JLTB.
Don't really see JL pulling it off since they will get hit with a 6 Exploit Weakness no matter what on round 1 or 2. Unless I can't roll a 4. Rolling a 4 or better is pretty good odds. Batman will have a 22 square swing. That's the entire map for those of you that don't know. Yeah Batman might get KO'd next round but thats the plan. Sacrifice Bruce and then rain down 4 damage Phychic Blast on JL w/ the Batcave Computer as they attempt to move down the map. Should only take 2 hits w/ the Batcave Computer.
While I do think the opening move of doing that amount of damage is good, with the JL team base they could just pop off GL and then start healing the Team back up with his power.
You also need to keep in mind that the Alfred you payed for with the 100 points has to be KO as well before you can start hitting people "everywhere" on the map.
We had our Invitational last Weds and of course team bases were played (400 points after partial booster contents were added. A JLA base lost to a small TT base with Wonder Girl as back-up and the larger TT base lost to a team that combo'd Batbelt with handcuffs and a Leech tie-down strategy.
I've completed collecting the IC, CT, XP, CM, Ult, MM, FF, AW, Sin, SN, AVE, M&M, SI, HoT, WoS, GSX, CA, IH, GG, AVM, CW, M10th, ASM, IM3, WK11-16, FI, WX, T:DW, CA:WS, IIM, DoFP, DP, GotG, AoUM, AoU, AVAS NFAoS, CACW, UXM, SFoes, DXF, GotG2, ADW, WI, MT T:RM, AI SW:B, EX, ABPI and X:DPAS sets.
Looking to get PR Professor X (W/X-Men) and pre-release "IC" Wolverine.
I'm contributing a lot by showing builds that can compete with the team bases. The OP obviously wants to know teams that can compete w/ team bases.
When I lose with a team base I will be sure to post what the opposing team was.
Losing with a team base it a totally different experience than beating a team base. I can come up with plenty of theoretical teams to use against them, and with time I could have actual experience to report.
But what I want in this thread are stories of defeat, because I'm interested to hear if players are legitimately getting trampled, or if it's user error, or if it's just counter teams winning.
So thanks for your stories, but there are other threads actually looking for that info where they'd fit in better.
I played a teen titan base @ 300 and lost to a modern meta team twice. But they can definitely hold their own. With some better luck then my opponent, I could have won. Super senses, shape change, several prob, and a +2 stat beat sticks makes things hard for any team though.

I just lost a fun game using new rules against my brother today using 300pt New Teen Titans.
The team was
208 AA100 Batman
85 NMLR200B The Batcave
293
On ASM rooftop map.
TT Weakness is Stealth.
TT are very good! I never chose to roll the Asset dial. Having Outwit, Perplex, and PC on that 1st click is awesome. Starfire's flight is a must so you don't get stuck in hindering.
Going to play the dreaded 300pt JL against him after we grill out and throw back a few tonight
