I agree. I order a decent sized cable package all to get two channels. I'd pay $30 a month for the 15 or so channels I do watch. That's a better rate per channel than I pay. Maybe then we can stop subsidizing the channels that outright suck. Yes, that does mean NASCAR and MLBTV.

I was pretty sold on not getting the new Xbox when they said no backwards compatibility and tried saying the "chip sets" are just too different. Right...Like that cant get fixed with a few thousand dollars and room full of 18 year olds with glasses. Its not like they created a computer program that could run console games or a mod to run windows on consoles or anything. In today's world of technology it seems to me that "hardware differences" are just not an excuse when your talking about technology this new compared to technology that isn't that old...

Anyway, I was pretty sure I wasn't getting one until they previewed Dead Rising 3. Now I'm wondering if 560 is too much to spend so I could continue playing my favorite zombie franchise...

I heard about that, but I bet it wont roll out the way they want it too. My kinect isn't pointed at my couch because we dont have enough room between the TV and the Couch for the kinect to pick us up and actually track us in game, so my kinect points towards the wall and the empty side of the room at all times and we just swivel the TV to face that side of the room when we're ready to play the kinect. I'm sure I'm not the only Xboxer that has their TV set up that way.

Smash Bros. started on the concept of Nintendo's All-stars (I.E. own property characters) duking it out. In Melee, Nintendo started to look outside their own properties for additions and were planning to include Snake, but the time the approvals and licensing went through, the game was too far developed to include him. Instead, Snake and Sonic were both included in Brawl. It takes a bit to work out licensing agreements and such.
