Saw R.I.P.D. last night. Really enjoyed it. Laughed out loud a few times.
Jeff and Ryan made a pretty good pairing.
( I loved it the first time he said " Relax your body" )

Superman has killed in the comics before.
What do you think he did to Doomsday?
And there has been at least one more instance.

DVR'd the Candidate the other day, and finally sat down to watch it last night. I gotta say, I laughed a lot. And it really did a great job of skewering how politics work in this country.

Saw Fast and Furious Six in the cheap theater yesterday. It was... okay. Honestly, my expectations are fairly low with that to begin with, but it just didn't feel as awesome as 4/5.

This is probably because I like Elena more than Letty. Boo!
Also, the Statham appearance at the end was pretty awesome. Has me looking forward to Seven, at least.

If you had a childhood, then this will likely be something you enjoy.
Just an excellent coming of age story with enough complexity and pain mixed in with the awesome to make it charming and compelling. Great performances all over the place.

I saw Monsters University. A decent movie, but not fantastic. A lot of college cliches with the monster twist added which was to be expected. I think I liked the last 15 minutes of the story the best.
Just saw Room 237. If anyone enjoys the films of Stanley Kubrick and is interested in some really out there analyses of them, this is probably the only film that does that. It's like watching conspiracy theories for classic films unfold in a stunning display of selective viewing.
My personal favourite was the guy who was convinced that The Shining was actually Kubrick's indirect way of apologizing for helping to fake the moon landing footage.
Just finished watching Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (Yep, another early leak)
The artwork is kind of a mix bag except for Aqauman who remains FUGLY AS HELL through out the movie. But the story was pretty solid and if you watch past the credits there is a set up for the next DC animated film. Which will be the first to take place in the Nu52 and the villain for that film is Darkseid (you don't see him but the Boomtube and the hundred plus Parademons are kind of a give away)

Thought this looked good. Reminds me that I want to still buy Moonrise Kingdom (haven't seen it yet but I'm committed to blindly buy it on bluray)
