Dude, it kept me on autobid when I was logged IN. All my money got blown on RBs.
Which is nice, I guess, but now I need a team.
It did the same to me (I had the draft as starting half an hour later so didn't make it in time). It even spent $40 getting Brees as my -backup- QB (which means I think I've got Drew in 10 Leagues...).
But he was back-up to Peyton so I forgive the autobidder for now.

We'll see if Peyton keeps it up all year, especially if they seal things up early. I could see him resting during the FF playoffs if they already have the AFC top record in hand.
I know it's against conventional wisdom and I have no room to advise, but I often have no qualms against grabbing one of the top 5 QBs in the first round. I've seen top notch QBs rack up points equal to top RBs time and again - enough to tip many games - and I feel that there are fewer of them than there are productive RBs.
(Plus greater chance of not needing to replace a productive QB during the season while RBs are a bit more precarious).

I agree. I don't have any problem grabbing a top flight quarterback. Last thing I want is to end up having to choose between Blaine Gabbert or Mark Sanchez/Geno Smith. Or end up with a Fantasy nightmare like Phillip Rivers as my starter. The guy can put up massive numbers, or he can lose you a game.
Ugh. Ugly week for me with Calvin and Marshawn Lynch scoring less that 10 combined. Add in Lamar Miller's goosegg and I'm pretty screwed even if RG3 goes big tonight. Welcome back to fantasy season!
This teal light of mine, gonna' stick it where the sun don't shine...
So, I think the $4 I spent for Vick in my auction league (as I got screwed with all my money being autobid into RBs)... might be the best virtual $4 I have ever spent.
Wow.

Who's your backup for him when he gets hurt? He definitely will pay off at the start of the season. But I assume spending $4 on him you probably got a really good starting QB. That's awesome.

Alex Smith, actually, is my current backup. Granted, it was only Jacksonville, but I like this so far.
I would have spent more on a "surefire" QB, but the aforementioned craptastic autobid system kept running me up on RBs, so I had little spending room for anything else.

Yea I have zero desire to even manage the hcrealms team. Mine is absolutely terrible. My fault for missing the draft I guess, but changing the time to that late on the east coast I just wasn't going to stay up for it.
My team absolutely blew up this week. Feels nice but a really low week followed by a really high week makes me worry my team might be inconsistent. Here's to hoping this week is the norm!

Well, this was a good week. Annihilated my mafia league opponent and eeked out a tie (?!?) against my opponent here. So 1-1 in mafia and 1-0-1 in HCR. I'm okay with this so far.

Got another W in one of my money leagues - and tied in the other. So in my $ leagues I'm 2-0, and 1-0-1.
My team is absolutely awful in the hcrealms league. Oh well, will make the draft next year hahaha.
Also, did we have the same rules last year? I don't remember being limited to 5 RB and 5 WR last year. Those are really annoying limitations for a bench. Nobody needs a backup kicker and TE through the entire season. And it makes it pretty difficult for someone with a wretched team like mine to salvage their season thru the waiver wire.

Not only did we tie...but if we made all the "best" moves...we would've tied as well @ 136 instead of 113. I really should've put in Bernard for Wilson :D

I was a little surprised that bench scoring wasn't used to break the tie. Very odd.

I've never heard of using bench scoring to break a tie. Why would that be done in the regular season? I could see it in the post season.
For my $ league I was down 129-120. I had Seattles kicker left, he had no one. I figured he probably wasn't going to score the 10 I needed to win. Woke up and saw that he scored 9 and laughed. Better than a loss I guess.
