And i gotta giggle at how many people are like "look how broke he is. Just use BoS and Splitlip with him" Uh yeah, Cosmic Justice Lex Luthor is broken!... with Splitlip and the Book
His damage value isnt high enough that he can run through a swarm team, and precision strike wrecks him.
He has a consistent 3 damage with 8 clicks of Super Strength, 4 clicks of Exploit and 4 clicks of RCE. Don't underestimate his damage potential, he's easily two-shotting anyone on a swarm team. Precision Strike is great but you still have to hit him "X" times, while he's hitting you back and healing off Steal Energy.

If AvX Namor is your solution to Bizzaro in a big tournament be prepared to lose every other match. And probably the match against Bizzaro too. Oh, you Flurry/Precision Strike? Bizarro takes 2, and then hits you back for either 5 or 3 penetrating, either way healing one. Do you really think Namor is winning that race?

My point wasn't that AvX namor is the be all end all of beating bizarro, it was that bizarro is very beatable and there is at least one figure that has all the tools necessary to break his defenses. I still think bizarro loses to swarm teams most times, especially swarm teams with flurry.
Playing an efficient Multiple Man team vs Bizarro would be super fun! SO much flurry and plasticity
I think it'd be pretty effective.
This version makes me pretty happy

All good points. I will point out that 10th Catwoman shuts down his ability to use any resource. Paired with a character that can attack multiple times in one turn, like ASM Ghost Rider, or a nasty poison piece like Man-Thing could beat him. HSS + PS works well.
Bizarro is going to be on a lot of winning teams. I myself will be fielding him quite a bit.
I don’t think people are quite understanding how much it takes to take down a Bizzarro in a 300 point game. Lets say you leave out splitlip but still keep 8 hammers on the BOS, leaving Bizarro at 250 points. This allows Bizarro to use the damage slot from the BOS giving him perplex and later down the line outwit and PC, not to mention all the stat bumps throughout the BOS. So you pop the only Hammer that matters on him which is Angriris Hammer giving him traited toughness and steal energy (so no poison). So he will have around a 12 attack and 18 Defense close to half the time or better no matter how much damage you have done to him. This is where he separates from other OMAs. Most OMA even w/ the BOS get practically useless after 5 clicks of damage. Bizzaro will always be only taking 1 damage while your team is taking 3-5 throughout the whole match. Breaking this down even further, it will take 10 successful hits to kill him assuming you get through all the SC, SS, and IMP rolls. Now, lets say you hit him 5 times in 3 rounds with your team and say Bizzarro hits you only 2 out of 3 turns (even though he could potentially hit 5x in 3 turns, dropping 7 additional hammers throughout the game), that means it will now take around 15 successful hits or say around 8 turns. By this time Bizzaro will have dished out at least 12-15 damage (not counting opposing characters damage reducers). This amount of damage should have killed at least 1 or two figures probably leaving the opposing team well down on their clicks of life reducing their effectiveness and likely hood to damage Bizzarro further. I think the further the game goes, the more uphill the battle is against him. I think if you are going to beat bizzaro, it might be with a BOS team which will further increase the # of attacks you can make per turn. That I suppose could beat him reliably. I’m anxious to see if I’m right about him being watchlist worthy.
Lots of folks notice that Bizarro takes only 1 damage at a time. They also forget that he can only heal 1 damage at a time. No matter how many Quakes you drop via the book, he'll only heal 1 damage per attack .
This is wrong. If he damages 3 figures with a Quake he will get back 3 Orbs. It's 3 separate healing of 1. Not 1 Healing of 3. Not trying to add fuel to the fire.
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.

And my point was your counter wasn't actually a counter. If you're going to use an example as to why he's not difficult to beat, your example should actually be able to beat him.
Breaking his defenses isn't the issue, it's actually doing enough damage to kill him. Swarm teams are your best bet, but even then he's got a lot of potential. If you're swarming him it just makes it easier for the hammer drop/Quake to heal multiple times in a turn.

No, but he can break a Barrier and then Sidestep away, possibly getting out of range, breaking LoS, standing next to a square of hindering terrain or basing one of the Barrier makers and thus breaking the lock. If your opponent is trying to Barrier lock you, Kuurth's hammer is probably more important than Angrir's.
It makes it more difficult certainly, but saying 'well I'll just play two people with Barrier' doesn't actually beat him.
