Sage was welcomed by the X-Men with open arms. She had no trouble assimilating and Xavier took her immediately into a private counsel.

The discussion; after Xavier gave her the full details of what had happened to everyone, turned to the Hellfire Club as it existed in this reality.

Justice met with Nick Fury and afterwards went over to Avengers mansion. He wasn't there long before he was sent to the New Warriors headquarters that just appeared that day where he was met by Night Thrasher.

The Avengers asked Vance to keep a close eye on Night Thrasher and keep him out of trouble.

Day 41: Early morning; Earth time, on a replicated moon of Titan, patterned after the DC universe version from the 31st century, in an alternate reality.

Raza Longknife was taking a timeout on the Shiar homeworld with Ch'od.

They still hadn't discovered why the entire Shiar population was missing except the Shiar military, but now it appeared even the military were missing. The emptiness was eerie.

Temporarily, the two decided to split up.

This was Raza's undoing.

Something unsettling occurred that startled Raza in it's unnaturalness and he fell back into a rift that appeared behind him.

Feeling that she'd fully recovered from her stroke, Nocturne; or Talia Josephine Wagner, decided to try rejoining the Exiles and decided to make a reality jump to find them.

Her attempt was misdirected and suddenly, she found herself on one of Titan's moons but not the one she would have expected.

Igor; the only super ape that was not really an ape, was panicking.

He was completely disoriented by being on the moon of Titan with the sight of Saturn looming large in the sky. Fearfully, Igor turned into a rock formation near a brook.

He remained that way when two figures appeared independantly of each other through rifts.

Both figures added to the baboons discomfort because neither looked human.

If either of them got too near, he would bite them hard with his sharp canines which were several inches long but for now, he would lay low as a pile of rocks.

Nocturne and Raza stared at each other. Nocturne recognized Raza from X-Men files but Raza had no idea who Nocturne was.

Poor terrified Igor did not know who --- or what, either of them were and trembled slightly in his disguise.

As Nocturne and Raza approached each other, they were interrupted by an enigmatic figure who filled them both with an overwhelming sense of calm.

The two forgot about each other and turned toward the newcomer. Even Igor lost his agitation and nearly abandoned his disguise with an nearly overwhelming urge to run into this stranger's arms.

Igor managed to resist it though, as he saw the stranger speak with the others, and then disappear completely, all three of them.

The figure was Captain Beyond and he approached Raza and Nocturne because he wanted Raza to join his fellow StarJammers and wanted Nocturne to support them.

Raza was convinced that Corsair was dead and initially scoffed but, the Captain was convincing and both Nocturne and Raza agreed to accompany Captain Beyond to rendezvous with the Starjammers, who also had a few unexpected new members.

Raza and Nocturne were delivered to the Starjammers promptly by Captain Beyond.

Raza saw Corsair alive and well and nearly keeled over in shock.

"How?!? How could you live?" Raza asked as he grasped Corsair's head in his hands and kissed Corsair's forehead.

Laughing, Corsair greeted Raza warmly and began to explain.

Meanwhile Hepzibah and Rachel Summers helped Nocturne adjust to the Starjammers.

After Captain Beyond removed the two strange people, Igor began to relax.

Igor was always nervous. That was because he was a baboon separated from his familial troop by Russian poachers. Most of his early years were spent in tight cages where he could barely move.

Finally he became the property of Ivan Kragoff, who treated him kindly and gave him the freedom to move. Igor needed to be nursed back to health because of his maltreatment and malnourishment.

Kragoff understood what the displaced young baboon needed and restored Igor to health. unfortunately, Igor was too far gone to be safely returned to the wild so Ivan was forced to keep him.

Ivan always treated his animal charges kindly and with respect. Unfortunately Ivan grew up with propeganda that convinced him that the West was the enemy. For all of Ivan's kindness to animals, he had a tremendous hatred for the West and capitalism.

Igor; like all the Super Apes, were ultimately pawns in all that.

Thanos was conflicted; slightly, but he didn't let it bother him. He genuinely liked Mar-Vell, Adam Warlock and Moondragon. He did! But the truth was that they would all have to die if it suited Thanos' plans.

As far as Thanos was concerned, death was a gift anyway.

Justice and Night Thrasher nodded to each other.

Vance tried to break the ice. "So. Dwayne, You beat death!"

"Yeah, ------ yeah, I guess I did. Now here we are, in our old headquarters. Who would have guessed that?"

"I ----- I don't know, but ---------------" Suddenly Vance perked up.

"But if you can be brought back, maybe the others can too!"

Dwayne perked up. "You think? You think it might happen?"

"It happened for you. It's happened for others, I hear."

"You're right. You're absolutely right. what was I thinking? It could happen again. Ok Vance. What about it? do the New Warriors live again?"

Vance blinked for a moment and then said: "Sure Dwayne. Why not?"

After her imprisonment by the Saurians, Deathbird thirsted for revenge. Now that the Shiar had it's military intact in this reality, she had the means to do it. Deathbird was ready to declare interstellar war against the Saurians.

She called in the Star Jammers to announce her intentions.

Corsair and his growing team of Star Jammers met with Deathbird.

Deathbird was surprised to see that somehow, Corsair had reacquired Raza and also gained two unexpected members.

With Rachel Summers and Nocturne added to the group, the Star Jammers were almost as good as having the Imperial Guard available.

Unfortunately, Corsair was not too keen on subjecting the Shiar to intergalactic war.

To buy time, Corsair volunteered to use the Star Jammers to reconnoiter the Saurians and determine what the Shiar would be up against.

Darkseid was vexed. The existance of Thanos rankled him. He couldn't shake the feeling that he'd met, and fought Thanos before but Darkseid could not see how that was possible.

Angrily, Thanos summoned Nightmare and demanded that Nightmare locate and bring the Midnight Rambler to answer questions Darkseid wanted to pose.

Nightmare said that he would do what he could.
