Yes that is the only link I have posted. I never said I posted one on anything else just the link I posted was pertaining to the iron pharaoh.
In case if ppl are somehow reading my link wrong here is the quote from rpgambit.
Quote
Characters which have the ability to count range and draw LoF from a remote place, be it EVA or Cyborg connected to an object, they function similarly to multibased characters. When drawing LoF / counting range you can choose any or all squares to do it from. So Fantomex could either Pulse Wave centered on himself, Pulse Wave through EVA, or both. The previous poster is correct that EVA would die in the process if hit.
He even talks about pulse wave.
Jb that post has everything to do with this iron pharaoh pulse wave discussion.
In an earlier post another user quoted an orange, chris. If you search the forums or read this thread you will find it.
Now @dragon the way you were coming off to me at least seemed like you full blown out denied email as being accurate information for the one individual. I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. You sound as if your disputing the info on iron pharaoh and the l prime/unique occurance.
The iron pharaoh has been solved and copycat and more than 1 prime or same unique has already been answered. The oranges made the call not on this thread but another. A user even quoted it on this thread. Unless I'm on tree he wrong thread the quote should be here.

I am not disputing the Iron Pharaoh ruling. I was not at Orgins this year because it was my Son's first Birthday. As such I was not able to know what the actual question and answer was and the OP was lacking in details. As such only assumptions can be made and we know how those normally turn out
As for the Copycat and One Prime/Unique - I do question that. This is nothing against you at all. This is 100% about the fact that this has not been publicly posted by the Rules Team. Instead we have one person who has posted what they received in an email. Again this is nothing against that person. It is about the fact that such a large spanning ruling cannot be sent to one person and one person only with an expectation that the rules of the game for EVERYONE should flow in the same way.
This is especially true since I received an email from the Rules Team that had the Prime question Embedded in it and I received a different response. The rules as written do not support that having an Opposing Prime character become Friendly to your force only works for some powers and not others. As such each venue must decide that it will be one way or another. Now if that local judge chooses to take you at your word, then so be it. I just hope that said judge announces to his/her players that they will be playing it in this way as again it is a contradiction of the written rules.
I've been done this path a few times now before with them an a ruling that was given which contradicted the written rules. Those instances they went to GD and and GD confirmed that I was right. If you don't believe me please see my signature for the threads that confirm this
So again please don't take this as a personal thing against you or anyone else. Rather, it is one where the rules must be the same for everyone. A clarification is not a rule change. This would be a change to the rules as written. So an informal one to one email does not suffice (or rather should not) to change the rules for all players.
/end rant

I avoided thst Falcon because I thought he could pulse wave. Lol. Also the Copycat Prime ruling. It was ruled that "when building" you cant use 2 Primes. You can introduce a second on the team using Copycat. Played a game against Mon El and he grabbed my Tomar Tu.
If a random tells me this is how so and so does, will I believe it? Probably not. Why? It is not a reliable source for me to go on but thay doesn't mean he is wrong.
I think you're being too restrictive here. If someone presents an interpretation on a rule and backs it with solid reference and sensibility, and I can't find anything wrong with that statement, I'll take it as correct.
I'm not saying I've got the right answer here, but I do tire of players saying "I'll only believe an Orange, even if they say the exact same thing you did!"
So far as I see, Iron Pharaoh is totally able to Pulse Wave through the Falcon.
So far as I see, Copycat can't steal a Prime if you already have one, and can't steal a Unique that's already present on Copycat's original force.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
So, someone saying that I got an email saying X, Y, Z which changes the game at such a large scale level cannot be utilized. This is not be accepting or not accepting anything. This is me following the rules as written.
Psh... that can't be true! Chris just E-mailed me yesterday to say that you can't have 2 Primes on your force, but you CAN have 5 or more.
[/sarcasm]
On a serious note, I have to agree with Dragon's sentiment... the PG (and rulebook, if I'm not mistaken) specifically says that a Rules Deputy ruling posted on HCRealms overrides anything stated in either document... it doesn't say anything about a personal E-mail you get from any of them superseding either one.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

It does? Can you cite that?

It does not call out HCrealms. It says in public forums that posts made by them are how the rules currently work and if two of them post conflicting information than to go with the most recent post.

Thank you, Dragon. I don't have the rulebook in front of me so I can't quote it, but that sounds right. I'm pretty sure it lists HCRealms in the back of the book (right before the Glossary, I think) as a reference option or one of the public forums... again, I don't have the rulebook in front of me, but I remember seeing it mentioned in the back.

Wizkids has nothing to do with HCRealms. HCRealms is a fansite. HCRealms isn't mentioned in any Wizkids rules documents.

It's at the beginning of the Comprehensive Tournament Rules (which is actually out of date). The back of the Rulebook lists the current deputies, with their Realms forum names.
And the current text of the Tournament Resource Guide reads as follows:
"Rules Questions: All rules questions that come up during a HeroClix tournament are to be directed to the Head Judge of the event, who is the final authority on rules disputes for that event. Rules questions that come up outside of a tournament should be directed to the Rules Arbitrator. The rules arbitrator can be found online with the screen name Necromagus. Posts on message boards by Necromagus or an appointed Rules Deputy (Harpua, normalview, Quebbster, and vlad3theimpaler) are also legitimate means of rules communication. When two on-line posts conflict, the one with the later timestamp is deemed accurate. If an on-line post conflicts with any of the documents listed above, the document is deemed accurate. The rules team can also be contacted at [email protected]."
And in reading it again (I don't have need to read the Tournament Rules that often), Dragon is correct in taking the rules as written over e-mails. Which is kind of funny, since any rulings that the Oranges give technically aren't accurate until they show up in the Player's Guide anyway.
Which is funny to me, only because some things have been forgotten and not included in the current player's guide.

Ah, I knew I saw it in the back... I was afraid I'd have to wait until I got home to look.

This is why I have stated multiple times that a clarification is fine and should be held per the Rules Team posting/email. What does not work is a change in the actual rules themselves
I believe (I did not write the document so I cannot claim for this to be anything more than conjecture) that this was put in there specifically for these types of events. The ruling of being unable to have a Prime become friendly to your force would be a rule change is is far reaching beyond one specific figure. It would need to be examined in depth and how it would work through the nearly incalculable ways that currently exist for a figure to become friendly to the opposing force.
