Well good. Fortunately you haven't KOd my Artemis yet. I'll bring in Zookeeper. He's got Animal, so 85 -20 is 65 points from my bank for him. Enters in L7, then Charges to K5, attacking Namor, AV11 on DV17. Gets 5. Someone up there really wants you to win this game.

Ms. Marvel on Quasar. AV11 on DV17. Gets 9. Sue can help this one, makes it 7. Impervious is 4. Hey! I hit someone! 2 to him.
Nekron on Mephisto and Ms. Marvel with EE. AV11 on DV18 +1 and DV17. Gets 7. I'll risk using his PC and he makes it 11. That works. Mephisto will take the Damage, for 2 to him after Invulnerable. Quasar takes 1 more for Splash. Nekron takes 1 for Mystics.
Flash to K18.
Ivy to use Support on him. AV10 on DV17. Gets 11. Support roll is 1.

As it is very possible it may happen, let me say that if you hit Nekron onto his All Power Is Within My Grasp SP, he will take on the Death Is The Ultimate Opponent SP from the 115b dial: "When Nekron takes damage from an opposing character that character is dealt an equal amount of penetrating damage." If you take him down, he's going to take you with him.

Once again I roll for Hermes event then I reroll 4 for Hades. Hades' Monsters. Go to your bank. You may draw from your bank and place a new mythological character in your starting area. If you chose a mythological monster you may reduce the cost by -20 points.
Hmmm.....it's one of those unfortunately worded events specifying the figure begin in the starting area.
Namor on Zookeeper. Needs 7, rolls 6. Sue makes it 7. 3 to him.
I really wanted to bring in a Greek mythology type of character---Medusa, Cyclops, something to be Pegasus---I know I don't want zombies---they just don't feel right. Kronan Stone Man is a fun figure, although I don't see a Greek stone creature, this still works. He charges to L4 trying to finish Gar. Needs 7, rolls 4.
Death on Huntress. Needs 4, rolls 9. 3 to her.
Mandarin needs 6 ro ko Gar, gets 5.
Quicksilver needs 7 to hit Aquaman, gets 6.
Ms. M needs 6 to hit Aquaman, rolls 7. 3 to him after toughness.
Quasar on Nekron. Needs 6, rolls 3. Web rerolls 8. Nekron makes it 9. SS is 1. 3 to him. NOW we can use that killer sp.
Quasar uses defend on all those around him.
Forgot about Ares trait allowing + 1 to avs of adjacent figures.
Ares on Nekron. Needs 5, rolls 10. SS is 3. 4 to him.
Ares takes 4 for hitting Nekron. Whatever you do to him, he does right back at you, Penetrating. Makes up for his lack of any real Defense. (Combat Reflexes for 6 clicks on a 300 point character? And a Colossal at that?)
Incidentally, I think you're confusing your Quasars. You said you were using the FFGGA figure. It's the CA version that has Defend.

My event is Poseidon, rerolled for Hephasteus, rerolled for Demeter:
Demeter's Seasons: If your turn occurs between 6am and 6pm you may heal a friendly character of one damage; if you heal an opposing character of one damage also you may have free use of barrier this turn. If your turn occurs between 6pm and 6am you may give 1 unavoidable damage to an opposing character; if you also give 1 unavoidable damage to a friendly character opposing characters halve their movement until your next turn.
Kronan needs 7 to ko Gar, gets 5.
Namor needs 8 to ko him, rolls 7. Sue makes it 4.
Ms. M on Nekron. Needs 7, rolls 6. Madame Web calls that 10. He takes 3 for the ko as does Carol. Not a great defense, as you say, but it does hurt.
Namor boosts his dv + 1.
JJJ boosts Ares dv + 1.
As for the event, it's just after 6am. I'll heal Mandarin 1 and 1 to Huntress. Mandarin outwits Gar's ew. Plus I get free use of barrier.

I'm fine with using the running out of events as a timer, but you may be optimistic thinking it'll last that long.
I roll for Hades Monsters myself. Having it stuck in the starting area is worse for me than for you (Incidentally, I've just been rolling smaller dice for the Events as we run out of them, to avoid excessive duplicating of rolls.) I'll use Fenris Wolf for Cerberus. Moves to L13/14

Sue and Namor are adjusted. After many rerolls of the same event I get Ares' army:
Ares' Army. Ares can summon a character from the bank. If the character has a soldier keyword or is an Amazon or Asgardian reduce the cost by -20 points.
Notes didn't establish where the figure comes in so we'll say the starting area.
In comes AVM's Captain America. As a soldier I get him for 55 points. Unoriginal but he fits. He'll rs to N4 as he attacks Zookeeper. Needs 5, rolls 11. This game stymied me for a bit now he falls in one shot.
Death on Huntress. Needs 4, rolls 10. 3 to her and she's on her last click.
Mandarin outwits Carol's esd.
Venus tries to mc Carol. Needs 6, rolls 4.
JJJ makes Ares' damage 3 and he'll charge to G8 attacking Aquaman. Needs 6 for a ko, gets 9. He's out.
"Their false Poseidon is as uneven as a baby cat," Ares says swinging his axe at Aquaman, "Best to put it to sleep."
A shield slams into Zookeeper, taking his breath away.
"You may be able to change into any animal but that can't be the simple determination of a soldier, son," Captain America says calling back his shield.
Actually, 3 Damage is plenty to KO Huntress, but Zookeeper retreated to I14. He should be safe from Cap's attack, if you want to give him something else to do.
I roll for Athena. I get to dip into the bank again for a Heroic figure. I still have over 300 points in my bank and lord knows I need some big help. Teen Titans Superman.
