The fact of the matter is, no other game offers what HeroClix does. I am a huge comic nerd. What other game can I play my favorite heroes and villains against my friends heroes and villains? Where can we s8t down and play out if the Hulk can beat Superman? The characters and options today allow me more than ever the tools I need to recreate epic battles or what if scenarios.
Just yesterday I had huge fun in a tournament with Vision phasing through the walls, shooting my foes with lasers, and phasing back through, all in the same turn. The imagery of that is just awesome
Fact is, I can't put a price on the hours of entertainment and frinds this game has given me. I talk to people from around the world every day about this silly game, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I wouldn't be a part of this amazing mafia community were it not for this game. I'm not saying the game has no negitives. It does. But I still love it. Nothing else does what it does, and I see that the company is actively trying to improve itself.
I needed to win one more game to qualify for top 32 at world's this year. I sit down across from Faust. I took one action the entire game. 13 turns in a row he shut me down, and only rerouted his d20 with prob once. If I had 1 turn to act, he was done. But I never got it. He is the only figure I will not play against after that. Complete bs.
And yet somehow, the immediate roll-off scenario created by Grasshopper (a rare that'll set you back maybe a buck) was just horrifying and unsportsmanlike and will destroy the game and WK needs to head that off before someone makes it to the top 16 by playing a figure in a way that was completely legal within the existing rules.
What is this d20? I read the figure but do not understand.
A d20 is a 20 sided die. Normally in Heroclix you use a d6, which is a 6 sided die. This die has more than 3x the sides of a normal die that you would use in Heroclix.
So I'm going to Chit Chat about Daredevil, because I'm finally able to sit down and watch it... holy crap the show is amazeballs. The choreopgraphy in the fights... wow. Kingpin's first kill on screen was one of the most disgusting things I've seen. And they are somehow making the "turn the Town against the Batman" that the end of Dark Knight was supposed to do plausible.
And I'm only halfway through. Loving it.
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"

Hurry up already! I want to talk more about this show, because it was utterly amazing (and it gets even better)!
If you do not squee at the beginning of episode 9, you have no soul.

I know, but IIRC it takes place after Luke Cage, which takes place after Jessica Jones.
The waiting is going to be the hardest part. Granted, it sounds like we're going to get a lot of Luke in between Jess' series and then his own, so that will be nice. Hopefully get some Danny in Luke's series as well.
Well, I think there will be a lot of interplay with the series. Danny's basically Luke's best friend. I'd think he'd have some role to play in Cage's series.
If you let them kill your dreams, it'll haunt you.

LOL, I know what a d20 is you dork!
Just not in the context of heroclix, since there was never d20s in the game when I played, but I think Gir explained it sufficiently.

I hope so, I could also see them keeping Danny out of it to keep things simple. They could also just keep him as supporting cast and let Luke have his own adventure and give the casuals something to mark out at when Danny unleashes his badassery in episode 10 or something.

Huh? What exactly are you trying to say here?
Because the people that saw grasshopper as problematic see the problem with faust, too.
