Wow, you really have to read into my statements to get that.
No, silly. From my role (town), as a guy who is kinda "bad," there's no obvious tell that the mafia themselves would just be bad people.
Had I written this mafia, I don't think I could have resisted making my role a scum role.
Well that's the point, a lot of mods throw curveballs in regard to mafia themes. C-3PO was a cult leader in a game where the Rebels were scum. So "bad" or "good" could be a thing. It could be a single actor in multiple roles. It could be actors from a particular country or theater background. Just trying to get people thinking before we hit the night phase.

Looks like it. Check the Mafia AFK thread though, he's AWOL for a couple days, can't even open All-Stars for me.
I spent way too much time in airports yesterday trying to keep kids stable. To their credit, they did great even with a 2 hour delay on an already-long trip.
[/b]o... scum theme...
Nothing obvious from my role, although I certainly could see this character being considered "bad" in a general sense. It was noted in my PM how very little screentime my character had. How about other people? Are you near cameo status or omnipresent in your films?
I haven't seen the movie my role is from, but my character is the lead. And he's a lead elsewhere. I also am of an ambiguous morality in the roles I am overly familiar with.
And I'm town.

yeah, I agree with the idea that the mafia theme could be anything. I've been thinking along two times-- the same actor in multiple roles, or characters that fit a specific kind of part (all henchmen, all comic relief, etc).
I just looked up the Cobble...does not sound like a horribe concept...but then you inject Sandler ....and Voila.....have to say off hand I have really only enjoyed one Sandler film...and its one I didnt think i would

You know, compared to his previous decade of movies, The Cobbler wasn't a bad movie. I'd even go so far as to say that I would watch it again.
Waterboy is still my favorite Sandler film.
Memo to self: Add Farmer Fran to list of next "pick your role" game.
Which is funny being that it was his biggest flop both financially and critically
I guess he was punished for sins of movies past
Turns out I actually enjoyed 3 Sandler films One I forgot about (Anger Management), I I did not he was in (Hotel Transylvania) and the on I was talking about 50 First dates...but that is it

Day 1: I believe we're all a little dumber for having listened to you.
There was much arguing, unfortunately all the character actors were arguing about a juvenile man boy who made a crap ton of money in the 90s, so nothing of not was accomplished. Little did they know of what was to come.
As of now, I'm going to make around noon the closing and opening time to better coincide with my schedule as it appears I can't close the thread from the phone. Sorry for the inconvenience.
So you guys have like 18 hours to get your actions in.
“Come, your you have an appointment to keep with the Wicker Man” Lord Summerisle was talking to a rather concerned looking individual. “I hope you won’t mind if I do my vocal exercises on the way over, my voice cracks if I don’t. Ahem….All…” Just then he was hit in the face with a ball.
A man dressed in a striped shirt ran over and yelled “You’re Out”
“O come on, I was not ready!!!” cried Summerisle.
“You heard the whistle, you’re out”
“I did not hear the whistle, this is incredibly insulting, we were going to have a great harvest this year, I’m sure of it” With that Lord Summerisle was escorted out of the game.
Jawapimp is out, he was Lord Summerisle/ Cristopher Lee from The Wickerman (Town) A sophisticated man with a strange passion
Elsewhere an unamused looking man in a prosthetic appeared on a television.
“Do you have an ungainly complexion? Horrible scars? Are you Generally hideous to look at, or do you sometimes wish that you could just hide from the world? Then Uncle Fester’s Miracle Hair Regrowth Cream is for you. Here, let me demonstrate on this unpaid volunteer.” The unamused man in a prosthetic stood for a moment with his hand outstretched off screen. After a few seconds he grumpily muttered under his breath. “....Now.”
A pale man came into frame and the unamused man growled “Amateur” then took a moment to compose himself and then continued “Simply just apply Uncle Fester’s Miracle Hair ReGrowth Cream to the affected area”
As the unamused man spoke the pale man applied the cream to his forearm and the camera zoomed in, it wasn’t long before the shocks of white hair began to spring from his arm and soon it covered his entire body.
Cries from the pale man as his hair continued to grow could be heard in the background as the unamused man finished his pitch. “What a product...just call the number at the bottom of the screen now to get your family sized tub of Uncle Fester’s Miracle Hair Regrowth Cream, Today.”
Clyde Shelton sat at his workstation building something, to the observer, one really couldn’t make out what it was. However for the tortured man, it meant justice. Just then a car burst through the wall and idled. Clyde slowly got up, maintaining eye contact with the driver.
“You...You killed my wife and my daughter..” The large man in the driver’s seat laughed.
“This isn’t right, I had it all planned out, to the last detail.” Clyde frantically began to pace as the large man in the driver’s seat got out.
“I was owed justice, it cannot end like this!” exclaimed Shelton as the large man drew his sword.
The large man bellowed with laughter again and then whispered “Justice is owed to no man” and with that the large man beheaded Clyde in one smooth motion.
Rosarchparadox is dead. He was Clyde Shelton/ Gerard Butler from the movie Law Abiding Citizen (Town) The last man anyone would want to #### with, except for that one guy who killed him.
