If any of you are interested in watching Poke'mon and can't really handle the original series, check out Poke'mon Origins in YouTube. It's a lot more faithful to the games, it's shorter, and is not as cheesy. I believe there are 6 separate 15 minute episodes on YouTube. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

I'm still curious about the shorts reference. Am I forgetting an early Pokemon that wore them, is there a later gen that does or was he hint claiming Misty?

NIGHT 1:

SOUTHERN KANTO

A wide-mouthed Pokemon moves along, hoping to find something productive to do. A fair distance away, it sees a thin, stringy Pokemon surveying the area. Cheerful at this chance to prove its worth, the Pokemon winds up and lets forth a tremendous burst. The thin Pokemon, now dripping wet, gazes blankly out with its beady eyes at the source of its newfound dampness before shuffling off. Satisfied that it had made a difference in the world, the wide-mouthed one decides to call it a night and return home.

NEAR A RIVER

A young pokemon lays in the grass, catching the last rays of the sun and preparing for its busy night. Suddenly, two figures jump out of a nearby bush.

ONE OF THE FIGURES: “Looks like we’ve got you now! We--OWW!”

A small bundle of fur falls from the treetops and lands squarely on the head of the talking figure.

SECOND FIGURE: Hey! Watch where you’re going!

The lounging pokemon simply begins laughing and rolling in the grass as the three companions converged into a tussle of hands, feet, and poke-paws. A pokeball flies out of the melee and lands squarely on the laughing pokemon. The pokeball shakes once. Twice. Thrice….

NARRATOR: “THE POKEMON WAS CAUGHT! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE A NICKNAME TO THE POKEMON?”

EXHAUSTED FIGURE #1: “...”

EXHAUSTED FIGURE #2: I’M SPEECHLESS! WE CAUGHT IT! WE ACTUALLY CAUGHT IT!!”

NARRATOR: “IM SPEECHL WAS SENT TO THE POKEBOX!”

FAR AWAY

A computer hums to life. Stern eyes peruse the screen and widen in disbelief.

STERN VOICE: “Unbelieveable. Simply unbelievable.”

NEAR VIRIDIAN CITY

A small Pokemon noses its way through the grass. It stops as it hears rustling nearby. A finger appears through the grass before the Pokemon’s face and begins motioning in a strange fashion. The Pokemon, annoyed at this disturbance, turns to leave. Before it can reach the edge of the grass, a strange powder begins falling, covering it and entering its mouth. With a deep yawn, the Pokemon lays down, unwilling to continue for the time being. The last thing its blurred vision sees is the hand placing a small item in front of its face.

AN ISLAND

A pokemon, quite satisfied with itself, wanders its way through a bed of reeds. Suddenly, a loud voice booms out.

LOUD, BOOMING VOICE: “WAH WA-AH WAHWAHWAH WAHWAHH!”

A strange sight towers over the Pokemon. Confused and terrified, the Pokemon ducks down and covers its eyes. Everything goes black as its unconscious body is pelted with tiny objects. Music fills the air as two Pokemon battle nearby.

A VALLEY IN THE SOUTHERN AREA OF KANTO

Another young pokemon lounges about. It seems to have gotten lost, but is content to sit and ponder its pokexistence for the night.

A young man turns his hat backwards. He readies an empty pokeball, winding up and showing off for no one in particular. Before he can release, he notices a sudden darkness. The young man looks up to see the moon’s light blocked out by a strange silhouette. A blinding torrent of flame lights up the night, and the young man must shield his eyes. Hoping to complete his mission, he tosses the pokeball blindly and collapses to the ground.

WHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHHH

The young man twitches on the ground, his eyes spinning; his skin and clothes smoldering. Nearby bushes burn brightly. He looks up at the sky, and the black form is already a distant spot in the night sky. He walks over and picks up his pokeball. It pops open, revealing only cinder inside. His shoulders slump and he hangs his head as he makes his way back through the night.

A POKEMON’S HOME

Finally brave enough to open it’s eyes, the Pokemon looks all about. The strange sight had disappeared and it had been buried in sweet-smelling objects, which were also scattered all around the area. In fact, upon closer inspection, the Pokemon realizes it is back at home where it began the night.

So way I read it the first Pokemon was captured by Team Rocket
Second one was going to be captured by Ash...and killed by Charizard??

If a janitor got doubled, it would be very foolish to do a double kill (if the mod even allows it). It's more likely that there is another role janitoring all deaths. It's not a common role, but it's not unheard of either.

Yeah those two janitors are assuredly two seperate sources
Team Rocket had no fire type Pokemon that I am aware of (and I know this as I just used them in my own Mafia)
I can See Charizard as the SK as he was pretty much rather antisocial for a good point after evolving attacking everyone...Also possibly Mewtwo as the SK and he controls Pokemon to do it like he id din the movie thus disgusing him

Two Janitors in a game this small?

This one might be a landslide. Although I suppose there are so many Pokemon most could come up with a suitable fake claim.

Yeah, janitors are no fun. Even if it's just the Kanto Pokemon that's still 150 Pokemon. Discounting evolutionary variants, it's still... what, 70 different claims you can go for? That's definitely a big enough pool to warrant not having a janitor.
