Been asked this a few times this chapter, so thought I'd remind everyone:
Treaties are between players, not hard fast rules. If you have an Alliance with someone they could attack a planet you own with no notice. Similarly, if you have an alliance with someone and they let you move through their planets, they could attack any of your planets since you assume they are nice and let them pass your defenses.

From beyond the grave, Thanos laughs.
"It's so much easier being dead," he says, nestled in the bosom of his goddess, not worried about toll lanes and crossing guards in the stars.

Pretty sure Thanos is in a waiting room to see Death. Her minion keeps letting him know it will just be another minute, but he's starting to suspect that may be a lie.
So, the JLGD is floating around the galaxy. I'll be posting a story update for them tomorrow, but they are not going to use hyperspace lanes anymore unless Docsilence tells me they are moving with an army. This means they can spring up anywhere, anytime for any reason to do what they deem worthy.
Loki is technically the head of the team, but Superman is the field leader. As such you can negotiate with either Loki (Me), or Superman (Docsilence).
“The Annihilation Wave appears to have massacred a combined force of Green Lanterns and Shi'ar on the planet of Aerie.” Loki spoke directly to Superman across the vast cosmos through the aid of the mind stone. “It might be a good decision to assist in purging Aerie of the Annihilation Waves presence.”
“Perhaps. The Shi'ar have been a peaceful empire for the most part, fighting for what is right rather than what they could personally gain. The same can be said of the Green Lanterns.”
“This is true. But keep an eye on the Skrulls and the Sinestro Corps. They have never been the safest of empires. Remember, the Skrulls violated earth's neutrality long before any other incursions where made.” Loki considered the layout of the empires scattered across the galaxy, “Though either may need assistance against the force of the Annihilation wave. It could bring a mighty army to bear on either of them and overun those planets before a sizeable resistance could be mounted.”
Loki paused for a moment, remembering his talk with Malekith. “Kal-El, I need to tell you something else.” Superman was startled by a moment by hearing his Kryptonian name. “New Krypton is now under the rule of Darkseid. That fool General Zod decided to fight him in a battle to determine who could control both empires. He didn't fare well.”
Rage boiled up inside Superman hearing about his people living under Darkseid. “What is Darkseid doing to the people of New Krypton? Are they being turned into... into.... demons to join his army?”
“To that, I do not know. My information comes from Malekith. He's hoping to find a planet where his dark elves can resettle out of the yolk of Darkseid.” Loki remembered the deal Malekith had suggested. “I offered to help him under one condition.”
“What is that?” Superman asked hesitantly.
“That he not only gets his Elves out, but gets as many of your people out as possible.” Loki studied Superman closely upon saying these words. It was always entertaining to watch Superman try to deal with Loki. Superman knew not to trust Loki, but Loki, for more than a year now, had been an ally. Loki basked in the confusion his change of heart was creating in Earth's mightiest hero.
“Loki...” Superman started, “I don't know what game you are playing, but I will protect my people.”
“And so will I.” Loki vowed. “As for my playing a game... well, aren't we all? What I need from you if you truly wish to save your people is a planet where refugees from both the Kryptonians and the Dark Elves will be safe. Talk to whomever you like about the arrangements, or take one by force, I care little, but this is the only way to get your people out from under Darkseid.”
*************Oa*************
“I have scanned all members of the corps currently present on Oa.” Xavier told Uatu. “But have found nothing. It is true that the corps is somewhat ideologically divided between those that wish for a strong defense, and those that want to take a stronger lead at fighting the enemy. The Guardians decided to go with defense and thus invited the Blue Lanterns to join them on Oa, but many wish they had gone with the Red Lanterns. Still, nobody I have scanned would let that disappointment rise to the level of betrayal.”
“Tell me,” Uatu asked Xavier, “Do you trust the Guardians?”
“Trust is a strong word. I believe they are doing what they think best.” Xavier returned.
“Undoubtedly.” Uatu agreed, “Which is not always the same thing as doing the right thing. Before the Green Lantern Corps, before your planet had even finished forming, the guardians had already begun trying to shape the universe to their liking. They created the Manhunters. A group of peacekeeping automatons designed to protect the Galaxy. Sadly, their creation resulted in,”
“One of those five became Attrocitus, founder of the Red Lantern Corps. He harbors a hatred that is unparalleled in any other living being for the Guardians. His rage and hatred eventually put strain on the Red Lantern Corps, making it too.... unstable. The corps split. Half went with him, the barbous half that had given in fully to the blood lust, and half joined a Mutant from earth with rage in his heart almost equal to that of Attrocitus. This Mutant, Erik Lensherr had learned the thrill that could be gained by waiting to take revenge, by stretching out his hatred over month's and years. His half of the Corps is a much more calculated and workable half. It was this half that some of the Guardians wanted to unite with.”
“Why would the Guardians join with a corps that was founded to destroy them?” Xavier asked curiously.
“Because some of the Guardians believed that Sector 666 was just a pricetag that was paid to create an even greater weapon than the manhunters or the Green Lanterns, the Red Lanterns. Lensherr has shown that the red light can be tempered and focused and wielded as a weapon rather than just driving the bearer insane with their own hatred.”
“Why are you telling me this?” Xavier asked Uatu.
“Because for those still wishing for a more aggressive stance, can you see a better path for convincing the other guardians than to give our greatest foe a weapon like the Anti-Life equation?”
“Are you suggesting...” Xavier held Uatu's gaze, “That a Guardian gave away the plan to Darkseid so that the Green Lantern Corps would request the aid of the Red Lanterns?”
“I'm saying it would fit.” Uatu Concluded.
“Well,” Xavier spoke slowly, “I think I need to expand my search parameters.”
I recently had to delete everything before this arc started. Thankfully being a contributor nets me a huge inbox, which is now mostly filled with things related to another contributor. ;p
Sakaar's Red King has been brutally deposed by the Warbound. His sovereignty did not extend to the entire planet - no, that belonged to Darkseid, to whom the Red King was merely a regent - but the warrior they call the Worldbreaker has been the mighty champion the people of Sakaar have looked to for deliverance. They received it from the Red King's everyday cruelties, but they have yet to escape the clutches of Apokolips. It seemed the logical extension of the Worldbreaker's campaign for freedom, but he was instead content with protecting them from outside threats without provoking them. Something had changed.
That was Caeira The Oldstrong. She had seen in him what he had never seen in himself. She had seen in him something that inspired her to betray the Red King and betrothe herself to the green goliath. Neither of them had any interest in intergalactic politics. They were content to shield Sakaar from the worst of Darkseid and try to bring the people some semblance of peace after lifetimes of war.
This was not to be. The Red King had Caeira in his thrall for a reason - he knew her weaknesses, and he marshalled what was left of his forces and attempted to retake power. It failed, but not without the price of Caeira's life, as the Red King's final, spiteful stab from Hell's heart.
This was what the Hulk had believed happened, and with the Red King dead, he had nowhwere to direct his rage but inward. He fell back on old habits and stalked off into the wastelands to be alone, leaving Sakaar in chaos.
When the blue-skinned armies came to light the sky aflame, months later, it managed to get the Hulk's attention, drawing him back. He watched as they drove the garrisons of Apokolips off and away, seemingly cleansing the planet of them.
Kree Colonel Yon-Rogg's holographic emissary came to the Worldbreaker with respect, and informed him of two very important things. Caeira was still alive, forced into servitude as one of the Female Furies back on Apokolips... to ensure the safety of their son, who is in the hands of Darkseid.
Their SON. He had not even known...
Yon-Rogg attempted to extract a quid-pro-quo (including a sample of his blood to try and cure their evolutionary woes) for their aid in rescuing his family, but the Hulk was having none of that.
"I don't care about your empire or your evolution. But I will smash Apokolips into dust. Help or don't."
