Interesting. They also seem to have some Yes influences. I can see how they're a shade of Tool musically. The singer isn't as strong as Maynard, and the lyrics aren't as inventive, though. What are the parts of Tool that you don't like? Have you listened to A Perfect Circle?

There are some songs from Tool where there is too much quiet, or weird sound effects, or just no music. When I listen to Tool I expect some things, Cool vocals and lyrics that don't make sense, excellent drumming, and powerful music that usually compliments Maynard's voice.

I think I gave APC a try a bit early and I should give them another try. I discovered Rishloo after listening to Soen.

Now I need to check out Soen.

We are home. finally. I feel like I could sleep for 24 hours straight, except for the 2 little rugrats and of course, about 250 papers to grade since I had to keep the students busy while I was covered by a sub.

Sometimes - rarely though- I kind of miss the days where I only had to worry about the N. Koreans coming across the DMZ or the crazy Iranian sponsored militants in Basrah, etc. You #######s fill the annoyance niche, and the lack of sleep and leisure keeps up the stress levels. May as well be getting paid significantly more and get shot at once or twice.
