Of course, but I rather have him alive to use his other powers rather than have him dead and contributing nothing but a bullseye, get it, a bullseye?
I think it's a playstyle choice. There'd be a 1 in 7 chance of him being the target of a mafia kill and a 50% chance of a 1 in 9 chance of Hercules killing him. Obviously that player would have to feel out how much of a target they'd made of themselves but if it were me I'd play the odds and save the nightkill for around night 3.
With this half of town is safe, so I like most of this. The BD is too risky N1, I think, and year cop can give better results.
I like that you try to direct Hercules towards killing mafia.
I dislike that you try to get the doctor on you, that feels like a not super townie thing especially with Maf PGOs and RB/MD on targeters.
If "clearly be on me" wasn't indicative that it was a joke. It's probably because hammerhead doesn't have a sense of humor...

Man I have NO idea how the Bettle town lawyer role should play. Should they lower suspicious players? I'm guessing the least harm would be to just raise threshold to not make it easier for mafia to lynch someone. We have to assume the mafia will try to block vote at some point. I guess N1, the bettle player should just raise their own threshold by 1 and then we'll figure out the best action for him N2. N3 he can raise his own threshold once again.
Lawyer should be lawyering up in almost every case, IMO. We should be able to marshal votes effectively, so I'm not really worried about lawyering down a potential mafia unless we arrive at an endgame type situation (and even then with janitored kills, it's tricky...) Meanwhile lawyering himself up means he's protecting a for sure townie. Then every other night he just picks somebody else, I guess? It's tricky because lawyering up the strongest townies doesn't have any effect (barring a blatant mafia rush) but lawyering questionable types essentially means he's overriding the group's decision-making. It's an interesting choice.

Why would you want another janitored nightkill that's essentially blind over protecting a townie?
I'm also of the opinion that investigators should be using their powers early. This game promises to be short, so there's no guarantee you'll live to use it on a future night.
If we go full protection mode, the Mafia may just go PGO but then there's no guarantee they get a kill. But at the same time we potentially waste much of our protection. Plus the track will be useless if they go PGO.

I was just wondering. It could come into effect if we set two people equal on vote count so that if one was Hammerhead they would always get lynched. I wanted to know if that was a tactic we had. And I just threw in the Hercules part for good measure.
What an unsatisfactory scummy answer. I don't like it at all. First off we would never know if someone is hammerhead so I'm not sure how exactly we could use that as a tactic. You know who can use it as a tactic, the mafia, cause they will always know who hammerhead is.
Also, the Hercules explanation is the biggest cop out ever. I'm leaning towards thinking you're either scum or the SK.
So far my vote is going towards TSP.
I also dislike Adams attempt to get boomerang to not doctor himself. I agree with bob, a janitor kill does nothing for us. We need autopsies.

Question for the mod: Are we allowed to post "fake votes" in bold to bring attention to them? I am thinking of something along the lines of the "finger of suspicion" thing Song of Ice and Fire used way back when she was playing here...
Yes, you can use FoS: Jackofhearts to say I'm your top suspect. Only bolded "lynch X" or "vote X" or obvious typos of one of those count for lynch tallies and can only be done once per day phase per player.

Saying you are voting for a player due to night results is considered softclaiming and will result in modkill.

A random player will die if nobody votes. Some powers (Hammerhead, Beetle) may cause a specific player to be lynched or not lynched even if nobody votes.
Shocker's track and hide targets the same player on the same night.
Sorry. Little late to game. Kept checking in on Sunday nite and got the PM yesterday, but, of course...
I'm fully down with D1 pressure and even have a bit of an idea (still catching up on reading so apologies if it's been voiced).
Why don't we intentionally tie a vote today? It could lead to someone like Hammerhead or clue us in on who not to bother.
Also, not to be a jerk but in games of this style, I tend to be much more suspicious of joking around about players. Due to parity, it's far too easy to "make a joke comment" that leads to a Destructo-style player (not that he's here but you get the example) to slap down a vote which is then locked in and far more dangerous than games people are used to here.
So, a slight reddening towards SL as he's familiar enough with this style - and the blind throw down habits here (as well as, I'm guessing, about 80% of the players not having played this way) - to know the dangers of his "humour". Similarly, aspersions cast by adamical just because he didn't like afr's opening post slips him down a bit.
Otherwise, slight tendency towards Yellow on most. In fact, one of SL's saving graces is I feel he was trying to get a sense of how to use a character who is Town.
