Dr. Doom and Kang were ready to go after Darkseid but they changed their minds when they saw Onslaught.

Dr. Doom and Kang decided to go consult with Magneto about this little development.

Superman and Omni-Man had taken their fight to space.

Wonder Woman was battling Terrax.

Hercules was fighting Lobo.

Metron and Mister Miracle were fighting Graviton.

The X-Men and the Brotherhood were battling the three members of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen that were present.

Captain Atom was fighting Major Force again.

Red Hulk was fighting Kalibak the Cruel.

Orion and Big Barda were fighting the Fatal Five (except for Validus) and the three Legion of supervillains members.

Thor battled Nemesis.

Validus was fighting Doomsday.

Amazo was sent to help the General stop Onslaught from reaching Darkseid. They were supported by Dr. Doom, Magneto, Kang and Professor Ivo.

Carnage and Venom were fighting the Female Furies; Granny Goodness, Lashina and Knockout, along with the Key and T.O. Morrow.

Everyone else was dealing with the threats of the Frost Giants, Mindless Ones and the Aliens. Parademons were fighting with all those and the Saurians.

Dominators inclined to an alliance with Apokolips were aiding the latter.

Day 72: Evening; on a replicated Apokolips, in an alternate reality.

Brakken; a Guardian of the Universe; was contemplating the disappearance of so many Green Lanterns as well as Ganthet.

Because of that, he was captured by a rift in reality.

Archangel, in his guise as the Angel of Death arrived on Apokolips. This was the third version of Warren Worthington to be brought to this reality.

The first existed on Earth and was in his original identity as the Angel and was part of the X-Factor team consisting of the original X-Men and helping to guard the Vault in the Colorado Rockies.

The second was on the planet Orando in his Archangel identity and was joined by versions of the original X-Men, (Cyclops, Iceman, Beast and Marvel Girl). They were helping to protect the planet in the absence of Princess Projectra.

Now the evil version of Warren Worthington had arrived.

En Sabah Nur; Apocalypse was livid with anger. He was sooooo close to conquering Earth and now he was interrupted. All his plans disrupted! After thousands of years of plotting!

He glared around in anger.

Somehow he blamed both Darkseid and Thanos for his failure and chose to attack them.

The Guardian Brakken emerged in reality and saw that three Green Lanterns were embroiled in the chaos so he chose to get reports from each of them.

Meanwhile; back on Oa, the rest of the Guardians found themselves relocated to the this reality's Oa.

they now knew what had become of all the missing Green Lanterns -----and Ganthet.

It's a slobberknocker!

The Guardian Brakken was instantly in touch with the other Guardians; including Ganthet. Ganthet brought all of the Guardians up to date.

The Guardians of the Universe had a nonaggression pact with Apokolips and Brakken ordered Salaak, Boodikka and R'amey Holl to withdraw from Apokolips immediately. None of the three Green Lanterns were happy with this turn of events but they had no choice but to comply with their orders.

This left Elixir as the sole healer in the battle.

The Archandel Death collected the other four Horsemen and the four rallied around Apocolypse.

Apocalypse had no idea that he was on a world called Apokolips but he felt oddly at home here.

Still, he didn't like being thrust into a situation where he was not in full control. He saw many he recognized and many he did not.

Much of what he saw, he did not like. Onslaught? Dr. Doom? Magneto? Kang? Thanos? Thor?, Hercules? He wasn't ready for all of them at one time, even if he did have his four horsemen at his side. He also saw Red Hulk, Venom, Carnage, Graviton, Terrax, Deadpool and Cable. Not good.

Then there was Juggernaut and a whole slew of X-Men and Brotherhood mutants. That appealed to his curiosity. What was this all about?

Then there were all these unknowns that seemed very powerful. En Sabah Nur liked that not at all. He looked them over. When he caught sight of Darkseid, he was filled with a great loathing and even felt the tug of fear.

Apocalypse somehow knew that this person, this force, this dark god was the lord of this domain and he felt he must eliminate Darkseid so that he; En Sabah Nur, would become leader of this domain!

He ordered his four horsemen to attack Darkseid and Thanos; both, since that Thanos would also be an impediment to his newfound desire.

Cable and Deadpool joined the others in trying to take out Onslaught but Nemesis stepped in and drove many of the attackers off of Onslaught, including Dr. Doom and Kang. Onslaught managed to knock out Magneto and threw Cable and Deadpool into the middle of Darkseid and Thanos' fight.

Darkseid grabbed Cable by the throat, studied him for a second and; thinking of Stryfe, whom he had obliterated with his Omega Beams sometime before, said to himself, "I thought I had eliminated you." and proceeded to use his Omega Beams on Cable, obliterating him from existence. A distraught Deadpool attacked Darkseid in a furious rage. Darkseid eliminated Deadpool the same way.

The Parasite was still stalking around reveling in the power he'd stolen, including that of Red She-Hulk. He came upon Red Hulk battling Kalibak.

The Parasite really liked the energy he'd stolen from the Red She-Hulk and he craved more. He slinked up behind Red Hulk and jumped him. Holding on tightly with all the combined strength of everything he'd leeched power from.

As he leeched Red Hulk's power, Kalibak took a cheap shot at Red Hulk and knocked the weakened former General out.

The Parasite stole enough energy to force Red Hulk to return to just plain old General "Thunderbolt" Ross.

The Parasite then stalked off to try to exact revenge on Dr. Doom for enslaving him.

Kalibak was about to deliver a deathblow to "Thunderbolt" Ross when Captain Beyond moved in and rescued the old soldier.

Deathstroke was just about to deliver the deathblow to Deadpool when he was robbed of his chance by the one who had him on retainer.

Deathstroke decided to earn his pay and attack Onslaught only to be blasted into a bloody mess by Onslaught.

Onslaught and Apocalypse converged on Thanos and Darkseid soon found themselves having to fight back to back rather than fight each other, defending themselves against two deadly attackers that could not afford to take lightly.

The Parasite hunted down Dr. Doom and attempted to kill the man who had become his master. Doom spotted him and called up a spell he had reserved for just such a rebellion. The Parasite; for all his stolen power, felt his joints lock up and he couldn't move a single muscle. Not even his tongue.

Dr. Doom decided that he could exact revenge another time. He chose to cut his losses and come back later .He called in his troops which included the Secret Six and he used the New Gods technology he'd deciphered and made his own and summoned a Boom Tube to take them back to Latveria.

Luckily, Ragdoll had found his Parademon pal and they all returned to Latveria with some injuries to be tended to.
