As Adam Strange moved along, he began to feel like there was too much going on for him to handle on his own, so he sent a request to Thanagar in a nearby star system for help from his friends Hawkman and Hawkwoman.

Katar Hol and Shayera Thal acknowledged his request and set out for Rann as soon as they could. Riding along, was their own guest; Starhawk, of the Guardians of the Galaxy who craved action.

Damon Baird was usually cool and reserved if you weren't Augustus Cole but in this case he began to feel warm and fuzzies toward Marcus as well.

The two began to plot their next step in this strange land.

Day 75: Early Morning; A replicated Planet Rann, in an alternate reality.

Several ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) soldiers arrived on Rann, some were resurrected and some were troops arriving via rifts in reality. They were all only armed with Magnum pistols.

A pair of Maulers of the Gears of War reality found themselves on Rann and began attacking as they saw the Rannians as being human and therefore the enemy. Towering 8 foot plus brutes, they lashed out with their explosive flails.

the various ODST soldiers saw the Maulers attacking what appeared to be helpless civilians and opened fire. Their Magnum pistols were doing little damage to the Mauler's Boom Shields however and one or two soldiers were hurt badly in their attack, with only their armor preventing fatalities
.
However, Master Chief came upon them in his retreat and attacked the Maulers as well. He was better armed than the ODST troops and lit into the Maulers, managing to kill one.

Captain Comet and Adam Strange arrived at that moment and saw that the ODST troops were shielding Rannian civilians and witnessed Master Chief defeating one of the Maulers.

Captain Comet flew in and easily subdued and captured the second Mauler.

Though none of them could know it, it was the first time a Mauler had ever been captured alive.

Marcus Fenix and Damon Baird had to wonder just what was going on? They had no idea they had been relocated to an alternate reality and were facing creatures from different realities.

They made the assumption that somewhere out there, there had to be Augustus Cole and Dominic Santiago and they were determined to find them before those creatures got their comrades.

Fenix told Baird what he'd seen so far, including a description of M. Bison and relating his strange encounter with the man.

Baird fired up the Armadillo and they began travelling in search of their team members,

M. Bison and Vega were being kept in a cell together.

M. Bison managed to mesmerize a guard and secure the release of both himself and Vega.

Mesmerizing everyone he encountered, they made their escape.

They now knew that Ken Masters was somewhere out there and they were going to find him and force him to help them get back home. They had no idea that Ken was backed by Dee Jay and E. Honda.

Lei Fong had managed to break the spear of the Brute he was battling but the creature seemed to be more powerful than a gorilla and it took all his speed and agility to evade the beast.

T. Hawk was barely holding his own as well He was slowly getting overpowered by the Brute he had attacked. He had managed to disarm the Brute but the Brute's sheer power was too much even for his super strength.

However, Mister Fixit had just walked out of a nearby dive where he had been drinking because he was curious about all the yelling and screaming. He saw the Brute with the spiked gloves, ran to him and knocked him out with one punch.

Strong as the brutes were, they weren't in the Hulk's league, Not even the Grey Hulk.

Captain Comet and Adam Strange approached Master Chief and ODST soldiers.

Using the universal translator, they began to communicate. Master Chief finally began to understand a little of what was happening to him.

They took the surviving Mauler in for incarceration and possible interrogation.

That's when they learned that M. Bison and Vega had escaped.

They found it interesting that the Locust prisoners seemed to become highly agitated when they saw the captured Mauler.

Mister Fixit went after the other two Brutes and dispatched them with equal ease.

Fei Long and T. Hawk could only marvel at the sheer power of the sudden newcomer.

Rannian authorities came and collected the three fallen Brutes and asked the two Street Fighters and Mister Fixit if they would come in and give a statement.

Mister Fixit snarled, "I ain't done nothin'! I don't gotta come in to make any kind of statement." With that he stormed off, leaving two bewildered street fighters to deal with the authorities themselves.

Fei Long and T. Hawk needed to know just what was going on so they accompanied the authorities so they could find out.

M. Bison and Vega now had some idea where they were. An alien planet called Rann. Why they were there was beyond their comprehension. There was much more they didn't know than what they did know. They were hoping to find Ken Masters and isolate him so they could learn more.

Vega was prowling rooftops while M. Bison simply hid in plain sight. He mesmerized passersby into believing he was a Rannian citizen.

He was waiting for Ken Masters to show himself.

Adam Strange let Ken Masters, E. Honda and Dee Jay go out to try to find M. Bison and Vega.

Adam Strange was more concerned about these alien invasions. He needed to identify these aliens.

He sat with Master Chief and the ODST soldiers and learned what he could.

They were able to identify the most recent prisoners that were brought in.

They were the Jiralhanae. The muscle of the Covenant.

Adam Strange began to learn the backstory of the Halo Universe.

General Raam was happy to discover he now had Maulers at his disposal.

He had the underground network of Sera completely under control but something prevented him from moving above ground to conquer despite it's clear vulnerability.

Captain Comet flew around looking for alien invaders and spotted Mister Fixit.

He flew down and demanded that Mister fixit identify himself.

"What's it to ya? "

"I'm simply asking you to identify yourself."

"I got my rights. You got no call to be hasslin' me."

"I'm not trying to harass you. I'm just trying to determine if you are a potential threat. If you cooperate with me, you can go on your way."

"Just leave me alone."

"I'm sorry sir, but with recent events I can't just leave everyone alone."

With that Captain Comet grabbed Mister Fixit's shoulder and an all out brawl broke out.
