Yes, but Infinity's Trait makes your ranges -1 so it still nets out to 7. So he should still have the 3 Damage
Nebula on Her, AV12 on DV18. Gets 4. She makes it 9. Her is out of range, so she'll take 5 Penetrating.
I guess I'll have Hawkeye finish her. Infinity Outwits her SS. AV13 with RCE on DV17. Gets 7. KOs her. Did you pay the extra 10 points for her Cocoon Trait?
Regardless, if you did, I will deal with the Cocoon next turn.

GOlden Skull Sidesteps to F11, Perplexes Iron Man's AV to 12
Iron Man makes his own Damage 4, RS to F8 on Thor, AV12 on DV18. Gets 7. Hits for 3 after Toughness, that's a KO

One thing---we haven't been using the You Can't Kill the Abstract trait when a figure is koed. I had planned on going for Infinity until I realized his trait doesn't go when he does.
Otherwise, I've been losing out on Eternity's You Cant Kill trait, which will slow the game down.
Since we're probably 3/4 done with this one should we just skip those? We wouldn't use them in the big games anyway.
Maybe only one hit, but finishing Infinity is a thing.

So all right. Revisiting a strategy that worked well before, Giganto's back, the version without Namor now, but he's got the same trick. First Golden Skull Perplexes Giganto's AV to 12. Move Action to J/K13/14 and gets a free Quake. With AV12 rolls 6. Hits and KOs Her for sure. 1 to Star-Lord after Toughness KB to H10. Black Panther and Tigra get SS rolls. Panther gets 6. Tigra gets 2. She just takes 1, hits her Stop click, KB one to M14
Nebula on Stranger, AV12 on DV18. Gets 6. 3 to him after Invincible.

I think we should start thinking about the end game here. We've played many of the figures here at least enough to get a good feel here. Maybe 2500 and add a new colossal each next round?

Yes and no on the sense that we've played the set through. Especially on the colossals, there are still several we haven't touched. I'd go 3000 instead of 2500. (Considering the average cost of the colossals.) And adding an extra 2x2 figure each next turn is okay with me.
Just want to settle on this before I take another turn.

Hulk worked really well for me in the sealed game where I pulled him. He's going to Charge to G/H16/17. With his Giant Reach he can reach the Stranger, AV13 on DV18. Gets 8. 3 to the Stranger.
Firefall to break? Rolls 2. On Mantis then, AV11 on DV16 +2. Gets the 7. 3 to her.
Iron Man Perpelexes his own Damage to 4, attacks Stranger, AV11 on DV18. Gets 7. Impervious is 4, so 2 more to Stranger.
Hawkeye can use his Keep It Moving Trait to move to F14.
Golden Skull SIdes to D8, Perplexes Hawkeye's AV to 10
Hawkeye on Mantis, AV10 on DV16. Gets 7. Only for 1, but enough to KO her.
You used Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy. I will use Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl. They Charge to E/F12/13 on Star-Lord, AV10 on DV17 +1. Gets 8. Blades is 3. 2 to Star-Lord.
DD&MG will take a Free Action, move to their second half-dial and Outwit the Outwit on Black Panther.
I will point out the Hulk's Unstoppable Trait, should your strategy involve using Outwit or Perplex on him.

My bad, Mantis should have +3 DV with her Before the Guardians Trait. However I didn't use Unseen's PC, so I will use that now, and the reroll is 10. So the turn can proceed unchanged.
Stranger takes up pc and outwit. Outwits DD/MG's outwit. Attacks Hulk, making his own damage 4. Needs 8, rolls 10. 9 for Nebula. 3 for Nick. 12 for Stranger. Lots of 12s lately. 3 to Hulk.
Tigra on Hulk. Needs 8, rolls 5. Has flurry: 3. That's a sad probable ending for her.
Star-Lord makes his damage 3, attacks DDMG. Needs 8, rolls 5.
A new colossal for me. Giant-Girl I guess.
Captain America is next. RS to M12 attacking DDMG. Needs 7, rolls 8. Dings them for 1. She can go again and I'll try for Nick. Needs 8, rolls 5.

I want to be even on that so my Giant Girl is at 300 points. Depending on what you did I'll alter the version of her that I picked. I assume you did DDMG as free for 100 points, if so Giant Girl will be at 150 points and I'll need to add 50 to my total.

I paid for both Colossals. If you're using Giant Girl at 300, I'll deduct that from my total and just say I paid 50 for the Hulk.
For all that you threw at me, I'm lucky to have gotten off so easily that turn. Speaking of which, despite the 12 the Stranger rolled, Hulk wlll only take 2, as he hits a Stop Click at that point, then the 1 more from Giant Girl makes it 3 total.
