There's NO WAY that Thor can take them both out. I doubt that he will take out Superman, much less Superman and Wonder Woman. Besides, I doubt he would be able to get the drop on Superman like that again! What I think is cool, is that with Superman's demeanor the way it was before Thor knocked him for a loop, there's not telling how he will react.

I'd like to see him pissed off enough to WANT to take Thor's head off, as it will add a side to him that isn't explored often.

about the wheel and the book and the jar, the three demons are , I think, Abenezer, rath and ghast, I am not sure about the first demon though , I am having a middle aged momement. I vaguely remember the plot line involving Zatanna and Dr. Fate. Again my memories not the greatest so don't quote me.
Secondly do not, I repeat do not count Supes down, yeah he got hurt but he has taken tougher blows than that in his own book . Also isn't it surprising that the marvel guys were the ones that threw the first punch tee hee.

That Thor is always sticking his hammer where it doesn't belong. No, I don't mean that as an innuendo.

Quicksilver vs Flash = Will Quicksilver be able to run? If not he better be able to hide! =Flash. Flash has too many tricks up his sleeve.
Cap vs. Bats = Cap. Bats was already given a win over Punisher.
MM vs. Vision = Draw (No damage) OOH! Maybe they will combine themselves by phasing into each other.
Hawkeye vs. Aquaman?
Iron Man vs. GL? I want to see this one.
Cat Fight = ? Give a definite edge to WW.
And if supes in knocked out....Thor vs. Plasticman!
By now Lobo would have finished off that planet.
And Hulk would have finished off that supermarket.

This is what happens when WRITERS determine the outcome of fights. None of that previous Marvel vs DC Amaglam BS. Lobo losing to wolverine? Not even possible in an alternate universe.
Gladiator's power is fueled by ego. What's he going to think the 4th or 5th time Lobo comes back after being blasted to atoms? Cry and wet his pants, that's what. Then get his tail whupped by the MAIN MAN.
Finally, these heroes are getting the treatment they deserve (or anit heroes, depending on the case).
As for Superman and Cap (and thor) being deranged? They're EMOTIONS are being controlled (sound like an item?) so that people can't say "oh, Supes is such a nice guy, he would hold back" nonsense. Its so they truly fight like they feel the need to. Man, they thought of everything for this!

The only thing that makes my stomach turn is the art. That dated, 70's 80's style irritates me to no end. "Blah blah, Perez is a legend, blah". Shut up. He can't hang now, and he's proving it. Sure he was big meat 20 years ago, but that's when this comic looks like it was drawn. Get McInnes on there, or Brett Booth. Talented people who's styles fit today's climate much better.

Otherwise, I love this story.

Did they explain why Aqua Man had his left hand at the first of the issue, and then had his hook at the end? The look of the JLA trying to figure out the Watcher was classic.
Loved the issue but I'm cheap and not used to paying that much on a comic, (but not a bit hesitant about buying clix boosters. Sorry got off topic.) Added clarification about the Ultimate Nullifier, according to MARVEL UNIVERSE, was shown the ability to obliterate the existence of anything the weilder of the device could conceive of. Unfortunately it destroys the weilder as well as the target.

Just wanted to point out about GL's power battery...Kyle no longer needs to recharge his ring and I think he left the power battery on Oa last I knew. If I remember right he used it to "re-start" things on Oa.

In Cap vs. Batman....yeah I agree that it's comming but I see Cap comming out on top as well. Bats is probibly a better fighter but the image thing is too strong with Cap, his image is so closely tied with America I don't think the writers/editors would let him go down.

The art is a little dated, I would have loved to see Ross do this but it's not bad. Lets just be glad this is finally here...

Hawkeye's joke about Squadron Supreme was the best part of the whole thing...

By the way, I also picked up the TPB of DC/Marvel crossovers IV. Did anyone else get this, I know they are old stories but I gotta say the two that I read were very good, I have to recomend it.
