But that doesn't help the situation at all, it just makes you another person who plays BLS. Saying, "Do unto others what others do undo to you" is just an excuse to cover up that fact that you want to play BLS, this thinking of yours, however, simply makes it seem justified in your eyes. In the end, you're just another person who run BLS to win and for no other reasons.
I'm sorry if I insluted you, but in the end that's kinda the truth...

Isn't it funny? Take out BLS from ur chaos deck and switch it in for a jinzo, suddenly it becomes beatdown... hmmm. Well at one point everyone is hoping for one card to draw, no matter if its pot, lightning vortex, or mirror force. It's just BLS is the bigger draw that people use.
You could compare BLS to the son of God. He is being worshipped for his skill and his almighty gifts, until eventually he'll be turned on by his own people. (just saying it from my view as christian).
People could go back to the good old days.... Regular beatdown. I stopped using BLS for awhile, but then i went back to him. That anti-chaos someone posted on this website would be good to fit all of that in ur side deck. If he gets banned, there WILL be a look-alike card that'll come out. (brain control-change of heart, ocean dragon lord-CED).
So another comparison, BLS will die, but be resurrected from Hell. So don't get so happy too soon.... But next few packs, theres E-heros to take BLS down!!!

Up untill a few weeks ago i used it sense it came out pretty much but i traded mine off to symbolize the end of my chaos days and to finnish my pride and joy my dark magician deck.Built inspite of the meta un effected by the meta pwns the meta viva la dark magician

Regionals, third duel of a 1 for 1 match, I had an 8-card card advantage on a man who had just been reduced to topdecking. Mataza and Archfiend Soldier held the field, while Scapegoat and Call of the Haunted were face-down covering my arse.
"I've got him on the ropes", I thought to myself.

His turn begins. He topdecks BLS, summons it, and annihilates my two monsters; as well as the rest of my Life Points.

I finish W:5-L:2, in 23rd place.
One more win would've meant Top 8...

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning is just begging to be wiped off of this plane of existence. Only one other card in the game could've done that to me, and that would've been Chaos Emperor Dragon.

let me say one thing:

as a person who has stayed away from chaos monsters since they came to the american game, that I think these guys are too powerful.

However, I believe that they are definitely weaker than they used to be. I honestly think that the reason that they are still winning all of the tourneys is that no one is steadily working on decks that effectively defeat chaos decks.

After seeing the turbo-Deck deestruction deck, and the Ben Kai deck, I believe that the game can be won without playing the almighty soldier, albeit hard. I just think that people should actively work at finding some new "tech decks"

Now I have built chaos decks from time to time, if only to help players trying to win regionals and large-scale events. And once when I needed to win the prize from a store I normally don't go to. But I feel dirty afterwards, really dirty. Like I have to resort to bringing a rocket launcher to a knife fight.

But that's the nature of the beast. I still have some tricks up my sleeve for deck ideas, but we will have to see.

Im offended. I don't run BLS anymore for all the right reasons. It's just a common quote I picked up and used it as an analogy. If that's how you think of my dueling style, then your dead wrong. But still you have the right to criticize others before finding out the facts

So we're back to this again huh (sigh....) well here i go. I'll start off by saying that I did run chaos for about a month after IOC came out but i didn't think it was fun just powerful so I went back to burn (although I run a warrior deck now). I don't think banning that one card will help that much. as was said before something will just replace him. Since the new banned restricted list how many people have complained about someone using delinquent duo, graceful charity and pot of greed early in the game then setting a magician of faith? doing that is pretty much gameover but in spite of that how many of you put all three in your deck the day it was legal? breaker the magical warrior, scapegoat, jinzo and tribe-infecting virus are the same way. So why use them if everyone hates them so much? because there good cards that can fit in almost any deck. That's the way BLS-EOTB is he's a good (or is it god) card that a lot of people can use.

My bad man, your post made it sound like you played BLS for that reason, misreading and an assumption on my part.
