The first nukes your entire hand. No more cost to pay for serial spell.
However even if you do get by the cost, Serial can only copy a spell directly above it in the stack. Meaning, you cant multiply Card Destruction past the first Serial.
I always loved Big Burn to follow up when folks were milling to their graveyard. Granted I needed to have my RFG based deck going, but it ALWAYS made their jaw drop. All that trooper mill would be done for naught. 8^D
perhaps the best way to deal with the deck is a very aggressive approach using banisher along with d.fissure and royal decree. very basic...but it works...very very well.
3 Cyber Dragon
3 D.D. Survivor
3 Elemental Hero Wildheart
1 Elemental Hero Stratos
2 Exiled Force
3 Banisher of the Radiance
1 D.D. Warrior Lady
2 Airknight Parshath
1 Jinzo
This is one of the best monster lineups that I've seen using this tactic against a format in which so many decks rely very heavily on cards being sent to the graveyard.
And why should you choose D fissure or Macro Cosmos.? Its because Macro Cosmos is simply too slow....and when used correctly decree will prevent the deck from ever activating return when it really needs to.
But banisher COMBINED with D .Fissure is the enemy of ALOT of decks that are doing well in the format right now.
