ok this is really popular with my deck six samurai's most people probley know but for those who don't this is how it work's. you need the follwing
1. Hand of the six samurai
2. 2 gateways of the six
step 1. play trap stun/Giant trunade to clear enemy from stopping this move.
step 2. activate two gateway's
step 3. normal summon hand of the six both gate ways get two counters each total of four.
step 4. remove counter's and search for grandmaster of the six samurai and special summon now you have two on each again total of four.
step 5. use hand's effect and tribute grandmaster of the six samurai and select an enemy monster as a target and destroy it.
step 6. remove the four counters you got from both gateways from putting grandmaster and add grandmaster to your hand.
step 7. special summon grandmaster and once again get four counters to on each repeat step's 5,6 and 7 until all ur oppents monster's are gone hint's Raigeki effect
this is good to get past any token's. gorz emissary of darkness or simply to get rid of a swarm.. but yeah that's pretty much it if you have any questions just ask..
And you'd still need to get those 1-2 Chests too...then wait 2 turns until you actually get them to your hand. It's why Chest isn't used nearly as much as it used to be; Duels tend to end during those 2 turns as it is. x_x
Since this was necrobumped, figured i'd share my latest incarnation :
18
2x Great Shogun Shien
1x Enishi, Shiens chancellor
3x Grandmaster of the Six Samurai
3x The Six Samurai - Zanji
2x The Six Samurai - Irou
3x Spirit of the Six Samurai
3x Hand of the Six Samurai
1x Morphing Jar
12
3x Gateway of the Six Samurai
2x Six Samurai United
2x Book of Moon
1x Dark Hole
1x Monster Reborn
1x reinforcement of the Army
1x Reasoning
1x Giant Trunade
11
1x Solemn Judgment
2x Solemn Warning
2x Bottomless trap Hole
3x Double-Edged Sword technique
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Mirror Force
1x Starlight Road
Obviously the high focus on Spirit and hand is to maximally abuse sword technique.
Yeah, pretty much a standard strategy from what I've seen. Though I still believe some of the other support is pretty underrated overall. Also waiting and see what more "The True" Six Samurai can offer us.

Really ? :p I've never seen anyone play double edged sword technique before :p or even try more than one copy. Kizan alone will open up a lot for this theme, and logically prompt me to convert it back to a more standard aggro build.
yea i used to run the deck kinda like that x2 double edged and x1 backs to the wall play off my grave its crazy people never look at how good it is if you have a gateway play double edged 4 counters on gate way remove get grand master ss him. you still havn't normal summoned yet or search for hand and pop one to destroy the other to desolve the life point loss..
Tell me about. Still wondering about that one time they ruled its first effect could be used at spell speed 2. Unlikely, but a set of good rulings would avoid this problem.
Spirit of the six sam is actually better than hand in those scenarios btw, nick, Bring back two sams, one being spirit, attach spirit to the other monster, attack for the draw (+1 in battle, +1 from spirits effect), only one monster left on the field, when its going to be destroyed, spirit bites the dust instead. No monsters destroyed, no LP loss. Your investment was 1 card and you gained two (the monster you keep, the draw) and take away one (the monster you destroyed in battle). Solid +2 play. With hand you need to have two monsters left to destroy on the other side, and that leaves you with nothing to attack with, or keep, or get out of it. The best you can do is +1 if you manage to destroy two monsters with Hand's effect, which is situational.
Yeah, I checked around and there hasn't been anything put up for it.
Only too bad that Spirit can't attach to Shien, lol.
That's kinda why I fell in love with X-sabers when I got back in the game :
1) Faultroll > Shien because he's a saber and shien isn't a samurai
2) Emmersblade > Shien's footsoldier due to more targets and being a saber
3) GEC > sword technique in most ways because it doesn't have a penalty attached and monsters stay on the field.
Sammies are more of a control/toolbox type deck though, but a lot of the systematics work the same way.
I like Shien overall because of his restriction of 1 m/t per turn on the opponent which can be much more evil in the long-run when coupled with a negator or 2 as well as ones like Yaichi (opponent either chains and wastes their m/t use for the turn or let's it die) and others. Along with their "substitution" effect, Effect Monsters aren't too worrisome, but then again, that's where Divine Wrath or something can come in handy. Not to mention it's not a Nomi and has a method of being Special Summoned from the Deck thanks to Scrolls.

Its the substititution effect that really makes me keep loving my samurai. Because you control what gets destroyed and opponents rarely consider you have that option, you can thwart the best layed plans to destroy your field. Coupled with grandmasters effect etc. Pity the true six samurai don't seem to have that effect as well.
