Sorry, I'm late I had regs yesterday (did amazingly terrible, starlight road was played around easily. 5 rounds not one starlight was played). Regardless.
This is his page, he went x-2 at regs and placed 11th. Great duelist is great. I think he said there was a slight glare problem in his first couple vids, but it was delt with in the latter few vids. Posting link was easier and helps contribute to the saber conversation.

Oh I've seen proteins vids already. So that was your rock stun huh ? :p Yeah that vid actually gave me a little courage cause my friend has been going around saying his rock stun was invincible since he had sandman. So who was the quickdraw player with the regional mat then (I've got me one of those too, goes great with my saber deck :p) ? Also someone you know ? I can't get any testing in this weekend, have the kids until tomorrow afternoon, but hope to catch up after that as nats are approaching rapidly.

So what did you play at regs ? The Rock Stun ?
Yes. He already has his invite. I played him last round of that locals and won lol. Came in second that day.
Yeah I played at regs with the stun deck and did terrible. Along with bad match-ups (first round burn deck) and bad luck (guy beat me with trap stun + heavy when I had 5 backrow and bribe was in hand) there was no chance of me coming in near top. I went 2-3 before dropping and one of my wins was given to me after I got beat because he was a friend and he already had an invite. So basically 1-4.. I've topped about 5 out of 6 locals with the deck but I just couldn't get my bad luck to go away during the regs. Even got beat by a LS BW deck.. Talk about luck, that guy had every answer to my set ups. Also including solar recharge hitting gardna and plague. Or when he had two cards left in deck and one of them was JD for game (yay for not seeing oppressions, or seeing starlight road when he brought out celestia). Just a bad day for me, I dropped the deck and picked up glads again.
Made some updates to the deck but I haven't tried them out yet. This deck has been lower on my priority scale lately but I need to make some time to work on it since it's one of the top decks that I actually have all the pieces for right now.
I'm pretty excited about the new X-Saber cards that are coming out in Absolute Powerforce. The TCG exclusive Emmersblade really opens the deck up since it gives X-Sabers greater access to Hyunlei than they would have otherwise had. I'm just starting to test this build with proxies so it will probably need to be tweaked here and there. I think it's going to be a lot of fun especially when you can pull off things like this.
A Rescue Cat with an Emmersblade on the field to start your turn means a Rescue Cat for two Airbellums can net you:
Emmersblade + Airbellum = Hyunlei to clear out your opponent's back row if you are holding Faultroll you are now safe to play it
Hyunlei + Airbellum = Gottoms which can easily lead to the infinite loop if you have Faultroll on the field
Extra Deck
2 XX-Saber Gottoms
2 XX-Saber Hyunlei
1 X-Saber Urbellum
1 Mist Wurm
1 Stardust Dragon
1 Colossal Fighter
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Goyo Guardian
1 Ally of Justice, Catastor
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Underground Arachnid
1 Magical Android
1 Armory Arm
For starters, you don't play 2 ragigura if you don't play one for one, so logically :
-1 Ragigura
+1 Faultroll
Emmersblade is less useful than darksoul now, the general concensus is you don't even start building sabers until you have 3 darksoul
-1 Emmersblade
+1 Darksoul
I would also find room for a sangan in the monster line-up. Cutting either an airbellum (I hate opening with him as my only monster) or a pashuul. I'm quite dependent on my pashuuls, but apparently I'm one of the few :p In the s/t line-up saber slash is too prone to cause -1 in this meta, and saber hole is easily circumvented. The massive play of book of moon is part of the reason for both.
-2 saber slash
-3 Saber Hole
-1 Trap Dustshoot
+2 Gold Sarcophagus
+2 Trap Stun / Dust Tornado
+1 Gottoms' Emergency Call
+1 Call of the Haunted
