Pet Peeve: This doesn't sound like one but it is, being able to keep a single army build (specific pieces) and selling off all the other pieces that I painfully collected and still manage to win tournaments.
Basically WKs why is 90% of my collection utter garbage and unplayable in a serious tournament scene?
Why can't they just make it like in HC where you can actually play any piece and still have a chance to win?
Your next turn, your going to pull a Tank Air Drop on your enemys damaged mech, needing only a 6+ w/ reroll to hit, knowing you will salvage, or destroy it for the win.
( Not to mention other attacks you can make to garantee a win, within the next 2-3 turns )
Your opponent farts arround, the clock buzz's, You lose.
All the stupid flaws in logic/game mechanics that have been "ignored" since the beginning.
I.e. AmrPiercing vs. Decoy; AntiPers Full Damage on Multiple Targets; StreakMissiles that fly around all the trees in the world but are mislead by a Paint job and glued on grass, Mechs that take heat damage by cooling off, etc.
The patchwork job of poorly amending the rules half way for new units, yet never seeing the problems created in that process.
The constant turn over in WK personnel that create and arbitrate the rules, yet lack any practical play experience.
The fact that the playtesters do report that stuff is broken or creates huge problems, i.e. "First Strike" yet the stuff gets published anyway. (Fortunately this is changing presently, to some degree.)
#1 Underclickers
#2 Stallers
#3 Not being able to play as much as I'd like (the joy of grad school and families)
#4 Due to #3, all the mistakes I make during tournaments and all the newbie-esque mental lapses on rules. (and I apologize to everyone at SpellBinders for the later)
Pet Peeves:
ICE mechs that are slow, ugly and useless
Stupid infantry like SRM batteries, launchers
Super dooper infiltrating infantry like Trikes, ATVs
Super dooper cheating arty like the now nerfed SS arrow 4
Wizkids making the kodiak so darn hard to find
Wizkids making the mechs we love and like uniques and rare as hell
Warppogers , Artywarriors, ATVwarriors... please field at least one mech please!
Getting broken or incomplete units through mail-trades. It sucks to finally get a unit you've been searching for only to find out when you open the box it has a little missing gun or dossier.
#2 peeve...
Whining little panty-waist players who gripe and moan the entire game about losing and end up getting the fellowship prize. BMs should call poor sports ineligible for fellowship IMHO.
#3 peeve...
Winners who gloat and losers who say, "I could have won if I had another turn".
#4 peeve...
Traders who ignore PMs and leave deals hanging in limbo.
Winners who gloat and losers who say, "I could have won if I had another turn".

for the first I agree. But what about the player that REALY COULD HAVE WON, if he had one more turn to resolve the artillery shell, get another Ranged combat order in, or a last ditch charge or capture that woukld have destroyed the Maxim with the Schmitt inside, or the Mad Cat II, or god know what other possibilities. Frankly if the game was that close where one more order would haVE MADE A DIFFERENCE, I think that your opponent has the right to delcare his near victory, and then congratulate you on a VERY well played game.
If hew does not congratulateyou then you can tell him to kiss a fat baby's ###
1) Stallers...hate them...hate them...hate them...it's one thing to think, but quite another to purposefully roll for command when all your units are pushed.

the guy who questions a rule you JUST told him
non mech users
guys who are late and win because their by round counts as a win and everyone else has one or two losses(that were extremely competitive)
People who always go non- faction pure everytime they play *couph* gateguardian. You use all the best pieces from every faction * couph* one-eyed jack.
