Yep, great piece. Totally unplayable in any normal game. WK has not even made a game using it.

Odd... How can a game lose in the only category it was nominated for, yet win Game of the Year?

The fact that Indy Heroclix won best game of the year over some of the other options is disgusting.

The fact that ShadowRun: Duels and Mage Knight Dungeons won something when Wizkids does not even supprt them anymore is just wrong.

And the fact that Liao Incusrion won something just blows my mind.

Indeed, I've found a list of all the winners on a D&D forum. All of the awards WizKids won were industry awards (i.e. those voted on by the GAMA members).

Thank you. You took the words out of my mouth. Of course, if Creepy Freaks had won for "Best Abstract Board Game" there would've been rioting in the streets. :p

Keep in mind these are industry awards, not 'most popular game' awards, or even 'most supported' awards. Whether a game is in production or even supported anymore is not the point.

Last year (Was it last year?) Chainmail won an award for best miniatures game, even though WotC had shut it down about 4 months earlier.
