Yay, a SC unit from Falcon's Prey that seems to be good. I had almost lost hope.

But I am really really afraid of the DF variant.. 18 defense... evade... reactive.... makes a 21 defense in high flight. And if this thing has not single-use AnP, and an attack of 9+... I might be tempted to cry: BROKEN!

Very nice, I like that it looks like a VTOL instead of a Chopper too. Jade Falcon' s are going to be a great new faction.

I love the sculpt! (I never liked the goofy rotor circles). It's about time a VTOL actually looked like it was constructed 1200 years from now...

I don't think WK could have anticipated the "corle" effect before putting this set into production. I give them credit for trying new stuff.

From the compiled rumors it looks like if there is another VTOL it'll be a 2 Cap Transport...of course, the rumors at one point put a Cap 2 on the Skadi as well.

I want them all!

how many units is this that DF has with an Armor SE -other- than decoy? i think Viki and Chinn are the only i can recall off hand with reactive....

These things look and Sound AWESOME. To bad it will be easy for AA units to shoot them down. but then again if you get close enough....

Actually, the 18 defense was on the Spirit Cats version, and the Evade was on one of the Jade Falcon versions. There was no mention of the defense value for the DF version, and no mention of evade, either, so I would not be so quick to assume it has those. Personally, given that it is a DF unit, I am inclined to believe that it will not have a great defense value. Let's see, it mentions that one of the JF versions has a 17 defense, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the DF version have the same defense value. It may get an 18 defense, at most, but I don't think they're giving evade to this one (or they probably would have mentioned it; the sneak preview texts usually mention pretty much all the SEs).

Finally some FP units worth praising. Very nice sculpts to say the least. All 4 of these sound useable with perhaps the SC version being the least useable compared to their godly donar.

Hopefully the rest of the set has pieces like these.

I came to the same conclusion when I remember that Part 1 of "Concepting Jade Falcon" shows two differet styles of VTOL tail rotors. There's supposedly a unit called the Cardinal Transport (Comstar ROM). Sounds like a Falcon VTOL transport to me.

I'm really curious about what the damage and damage type the SC Unit is.

It appears the others Skadi's are ballistic damage, so if the SC got a 2 or 3 ballistic damage version that would definately be something that SC players would find useful to field.

That being said, chances are our version would carry energy weapons, because it has happened before where all the other versions of a given vehicle were ballistic and we got the energy version.

I think the SC version will be a nice medium VTOL in the SC VTOL force. If you don't have 60 points to spare, this may be the next best thing. Besides, they look kick ###!

That DF version makes me frown a bit. The last bloody thing they need is a VTOL with reactive armor and AnP, akin to the RotS Balac. Will have to reserve final judgement until the full stats are released.
