Ok, that's a fair point. The Preview Tundra Wolf is pretty rare. But, it's completely unplayable, dramatically reducing it's desirability. I have one, but it will never see a playing field.
The rarest LE is "Farmer Bob, Peasant Company". It was a very limited release and features a single peasant miniature (as opposed to a squad) mounted on a base and has a pichfork instead of whatever that weapon is that they carry.
Sgt. Major Rusty Cooper (sold it)
Kristoff Erbe (sold it)
Gunsho Junko Oshiro
Scott Tracyk (trade it)
Mason Dunne (sold it)
Daneel Wolf (sold it and trade it)
Gunsho Hiroshi Kato
Krystyn Shon (missing)
Ion Murphy (missing)
Carmen Hern
Kal Radick (sold it)
Stefani Ehli (some some and keep 2)
Saturina Perara (traded)
Bart Bradshaw (trade / sell and still have 5)
(for bart i am so fond of him so i start trading and stuf (only send 2 mail away for bart), in quest of finding the "perfect bart" i got up to ..... 9 or so ) so does with arnis and faisal :P , i guest i just a mech addict , but there is nothing better than Elfbait cuztom , still can't get enough of his mech
The House kurita Tundra Wolf Promo is the rarest. Not playable you are correct. Unless, you get MD Tompkins, take him off his base, remove his arms and missile pack. Place them on this Promo and Poof you have a House Kurita mech that is legal(sort of).

I posted the link, probably a bad thing to do, but one sold on a popular auction site a few weeks ago. The buyer got a really good deal, about $15. But then the seller mislabeled it "Rare Preview Mech" or something like that. PM me and I'll see if I can find the link again.
Originally posted by DBlizzard Well, of this list, Rusty Cooper was the one that took me the longest to get. Carmen Hern I've had extras of and couldn't give it away.
Of course, the rarest "LEs" aren't Mechwarrior LEs. The Mage Knight Four Horseman win an overall "rarest LE" contest by far. The exact number isn't certain, but it looks like only 5 of each exists.
The last time I checked the price value on the four horsemen pieces, they were worth over 2 grand each. I would say that the hardest piece for me to get was Rusty Cooper. It ended up costing me something like $60. However, that is nothing compared to the Gary Metcalf that went for $400 right after it first released at nationals.
That was back in the day when noone was sure if Wizkids would release the nationals prizes at a later date.
Ion Murphy ironically enough was fairly easy for me to get. At the time I got him off ebay, there were several up and he only cost me about $20.
Actually, what's sick is that the first person to put one on eBay put a Buy It Now of $300 on it. Before anyone could cash in on it, someone bid on it. It ended up going for over $2,000. That was pretty much par for the course (one store in Washington has all 4 for sale if anyone has a some spare cash ;) ).
The set they came in was easily the fastest selling set of Mage Knight released. Indeed, I think the next couple of sets sold out as fast as they did because retailers were afraid of those sets selling out as fast as Sinister did.

Yeah, I still have an extra of him. It's not really worth sellling on eBay and none of the local players have any interest in him.
