Did BT TCG have Aerospace fighter cards(with stats) and Warship cards(in any form)?

I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO PLAY BT CCG!!! YAY!!!

That small gaming store i told everyone about on i think the 2nd page had a couple of Limited First Edition Printing Starter decks... i bought em both (btw is $24 a good price for first edition starter decks? $12 each... and is about $108 a good price for an unopened first edition booster box? cause he has one of those too and im very close to having enough money but i just wanna know if im getting a good deal or if hes ripping me off...)

You'll need a copy of the Commander Edition rules to play - they changed the order of play with that edition. Also, there is an errata list somewhere. Also, last I remember there were 3 banned cards from Limited that were not reprinted in unlimited(?). Dasher - D, ____ Pilot (made F mechs unblockable except by guarding mechs), and a command card that doubled the damage dealt to a single target for the length of the turn.

There are also alternate rules where you make 2 decks (this is more fun) - one all resources (can have as many as you want) and one deck for everything else (max of 60 cards). When you draw you can pick how many cards you draw from each deck, 2 cards drawn at most. This allows you to put more fatties in your deck and never fear getting resource hosed. The game ends when both stockpiles are gone. (as soon as one goes its just a matter of time until the other one goes). Also, if you can find it, there was a lockdown deck that only used 16 cards and worked quite well.

Why did they ban Elite MechWarrior(or was it Manouvering Ace)? It was not overpowerful at all becouse it could be dealt with guarding mechs.

back when the game first started the biggest decks were the elite+fenris(BIG Fast 'Mech unblockable except by other Fast Mech) and the Dasher D deck(Speed draw+Dasher D+Elite)

(official WoTC) - Elite Mechwarrior , Dasher D , Effective Groundwork
(current rulings) - replace non-Revised with Revised . Disguised Coordinates and Alliances banned too(Star League is totally borken)

now ... the most borken decks are the SRMA Free Deploy(shyster posted one on the yahoo!groups a while back ...)

The only change to the turn sequence in the Commander's Edition was 'Repair/Reload' occurs after 'Deploy'.

Anyone know where I can find the master list of box powers?
(Hey I liked the box powers).
Wizards used to have a list of the box powers for all of the factions that didn't have starter boxes, but I can't find it in the vault.

the steel viper box power was the ability to scarp a card from your hand to swap a mech in your hand with the mech of your choice from your stockpile. Shuffle afterwards :)

oh, and no, there were no space or aerospace assets. There were 2 airstrike cards though.

someone made a special expansion that uses Jumpships/Dropships/Planets... not sure where tho... I think its something like Battletech Galaxies... It looks interesting... pretty well thought out...

I got hooked when it first came out. I now have around 5000 cards and am always looking for folks that have no use for them any more. I have 3 cards signed by Richard Garfield from a qualifier I played in down at Disney a long time ago.

ccg-workshop.com is really fun if you know what you are doing. those guys will tear you up tho. They really know what they are doing.

Galaxies is a very, very sweet mod for the CCG.

There are sites out there that will walk you thru how to take CBT mech stats and make your own cards.

I think the main reason it died was because in BT all the mechs from 2750 are still around in 3067. And what does M:TG do? they get rid of cards at random and now they are no longer usable. Well they couldnt see a way to do that with mechs so they didnt see the same cash flow as Magic. And if it is not going to make money, it needed to go away. (Just my opinion)

I still have tons of cards ,but as always it's just trying to find someone at a random time and try to play, but hey I always though it was a fun game.

I have cards that others have made and put online. I print them out, cut them down and stick glue them to green border resources. Anyone remember the BattleTech cartoon??? I have 14 mech cards from Somerset Strikers and the Jade Falcon invaders!!!! I have an Inofficial Conversion doc on how to take CBT stats and make them into BT:CCG cards!!!
There are some programs, tho I have not found them yet, that lets you layout the whole card as well.
