Confrention is a good way to get what you want. Every 4 year old knows that his mom will eventually buy him the candy if he complains enough.

Yeah, any four year old tries that in MY family loses priveleges . . .they don't get the candy.

Firm parenting works, firm business ownership works. Whining creates resentment and shuts down communication.

A business should listen to its customers. While the customer isn't always right, the business still needs customers to survive. If enough turnaway from or quit and otherwise promising game because the company didnt move in the direction they wanted...
Lets just say that the faliure of a game (or company) isn't the customers fault, just the results of ignoring the market.
