Dangerous to apply silly labels to people for using a build that isn't faction-pure. In fact, I'd say that pointing out someone's army and yelling "cheese!" is a perfect example of non-Fellowship play, which it would seem is the level to which we should all be striving.
Thanks for the compliment, and yes i've used it. It dominated, got called cheese, and then i decided to start this thread.
Ok one thing to point out. This army did not DOMINATE. There were only 2 players in the event ,Reaper and myself, and I was playing a totally faction pure force. If there were multiple players that got decimated then yes I would say it "domintated". ( I would also get people to look at the battle history between myself and Reaper to see who usually ends up whooping who :p )
As for the cheese, non-cheese debate I say this. Using an army that Reaper used is like bringing Johnny Damon to a father-son softball game, nothing in the rules against it, but not very sporting. I come to the game to have fun, fun for both sides in the game; not to come and aggravate the other players. Not to mention alienate myself from the other gamers.
If you alienate a person using a "cheesy" ( in your opinion) army wouldn't that be "discrimination" , "single out" , "nit picky" ?
A person alienates himself from other players only if his attitude and demeanor expresses it, but bringing a "cheesy" (in your opinion) army even though he has no such attitude then being alienated would be ( I think ) wrong...

The good thing about living in a free democratin society is that you are free to have your own opinion. I will agree to disagree with you AtlasBoy.
True enough you have your own opinions. I respect that, but, if you alienate a certain player just because of the army he uses, wouldn't that be wrong? Every person has his own right to bring his own army, his own version of cheese whatsoever. If you decide to treat this person differently basing on the fact that he plays cheesy armies even though he is a nice guy and a cool fellow would be really unfair. Freedom has its limits and "cheese" has its weaknesses.
The real challenge is to try and beat the "cheese" army without resulting in negative attitude towards each other. MW is a competitive game and a fun game at the same time. Everyone must have a good time regardless of army composition. I for one play both ways, I play faction pure and rainbow "cheesy" army. What's wrong with that?
We call "cheese" if we loose to a better player, where's the sportsman in that?

Yes , i admint i get my butt handed to me most of the time.

I had never used an army like this before and haven't since. Aggravation wasn't my intention, on that day, winning was. :classic:
On a more serious note, I was just having some fun. If somehow I aggravated people , I am sorry. I just wanted to win a tourney for a change; you can't blame a guy for that.

You are a good sport and exibit " true fellowship " .

Yes it would be wrong of me to do that to another player, but it is human nature. Would you or anyone ( well maybe Ned Flanders) make it a point to hang out with the most annoying neighbour on the block?
As for Reaper, I consider him a buddy and just pointed out after playing that army that it would really peeve the other players off. God knows that we already have one player like that in our venue, God knows that we don't need another.....lol.
