Well, thank you for that... but you are a very good player to.
That army of yours has some real potential, sadly the Merc Pala's really, really suck at being artillery.

What most people will forget is that with Jack you can ignore blocking, and if anything gets within 16" of your pala's they could get shot by a formation fire with those and the WH Kelswa. (wich is a pretty mean thing tbh)

Yes, but I lost one game because I miss a 7 versus the Black Rose (my mercenary for ignore the pilot, 2 paladin and the kelswa for the formation and the Jack to have -1 at the defence of the Rose) and one because I miss a 8/9 versus a light mech before I've shoot and hit the big mech. So my Kelswa was pushed and the two mech run away and my opponent win... :surprised

shame i came late to this thread. i would like to add my congratulations to the new European Champion together with kudos for Brinxter as runner up.

as BM mainly during the constructed i was able to see at first hand many of the army builds and playstyles involved. i was witness to tpjandv's and mangodecasa's horrific die rolls. i think we all said "ouch" at the time. :rolleyes:

the standard of play was excellent as was the French MechWarrior community who made us all feel so welcome for the whole event, we should also say a special thank you to the GenCon organisers.

among my special moments were:

• the reading out the top 16 qualifiers outside the event because we overran!
• learning to ride the Metro with heavygear (together with the long conversations that made us late)!
  
• playing against Elite130!! :speechles
  
• playing against a CJF pure force and winning. :classic:
  
• running the Battle Royale and coming up with different ways to upset everybody - especially mangodecasa (letters from home anyone?) :p
  
• discovering my camera's Memorystick could only hold 4 photos :angry:
  
• using heavygear's camera instead. :)
  
• the face of the Fellowship winner upon his announcement. :surprised :classic: :grin:
• the colour of Clea as she went to collect her award :o
• so many others too numerous to mention
