Reapers are out of the question as I only have a limited choice of figs. What I make are what *I have and most likely get*. Removed one Lancer* and made room for 2 more E@A's.
This will be my "standing army" until I get more warriors.
Rate it. Be brutal. Thanks.
blackpowdah's Pure KI:Swarm-Charge - "Robust": Total: 299
not much brutality, except taht i would maybe put the light lancer with 1 formation becuase the formations are what could be F/L'ed, and with carefull positioning, you can keep your 4 damage bomb from being shot, so i would just move around the formations.
bshugg: i think its kind of cheesy and unoriginal, but thats just me. i would downgrade the shade and upgrade teh krugg, but thats just it... there's nothing to expand on, but its still effective
A couple ideas I have for a large conquest game...
1. 4 levitators around a *war impaler. The war impaler gets the advantage of 360 degree front arc. it can ram up to 3 figures at a time. Multiply that by the amount of times you levitate. That could be up to 15 damage in a turn. While your opponent finishes off the one you sent out, reload your "ML cannon" with another impaler.
2. I found that in high point games, actions become a problem. So I wanted a formation that can get to the enemy without using any actions, attack in formation, relatively cheap, so I thought of the Centaur Outrider.
--5-10 Centaur Outriders of various strengths.
--They don't have to move in formation, so flame lightning isn't a factor.
--Attacking 5 at a time they would have up to a 12 attack for 6 damage.
I rarely play conquest games, so I haven't had the chance to try either of these out. But it plays out pretty well in my head. What do you think?
no the impalers don't get a 360 degree arc because it's mounted, plust there are other good strategies, although i should start stocking up on outriders...
ok i need your help again i have had this on the forum but no 1 hads responded what is the best techun army? i realy like him and i need a 200 point techun army
I played it once and it was OK. The pyre helped a ton he rammed and venomed. He never had to use polearm though.
The Troll Gunner/Amotep was alright. The Troll and amotep got demortalized towards the end but the ESAn supprisingly enough got the last kill with a 6 on weapon mastery. The maancatchers were very helpful harassers as always.
Strengths
Enhanced blasters. Auto damage. Good harassers. It has good speed which i use a lot.
Weaknesses. There is to wide of a variety of pieces. F1 seems kinda like just a mixed unit. Speed variety. Notice the word variety is only in the weaknesses list.
Changes
I want to change F1 so its more organized but i dont want to lose the mancatchers. Also i dont have another ***amotep all i got is like 20**s and no one will trade for them cuz they suck
EGRADEster: looks pretty solid, i like it, take it to your next game and win with it as long as your not playing against ML/Ram, which woud destroy teh army, if you think that'll happen, you can drop like a gunner and the imps for a centaur lt***
techun can win mostly any firefight he gets into, the lancers are there to take care of anything that bases the techun, or you can just go and hit everything semi-swarm style
Kindakous, you could use another levitatior, i would take out the medic and the reaper, put in a techno*, light cavalier** and a leech medic***
Magewarrior- ok, you can take out the troll and add a techno to help your pyre spirit... i don't think the ESA is a very good addition because you should help the pyre to not get slaughtered, (he is half your army) i would maybe take out F1 altoghether and put a couple of fell reapers or something
