YEah, that's one thing I think was really, really, really (did I mention REALLY) stupid. Why would you make people play the EXACT SAME ARMY in the top-8 as they played the day before? Obviously, people are going to know exactly what they're facing. Where's the fun with that? Where's the element of surprise, the metagame shenanigans? And wouldn't it be a better test of everyone's skills to prove that you can build and play more than one competitive 200-pt army?

I like Altan's constructed format: everyone bring 3 armies to the game, must play all three before you can play any army a second time, and you can't have the same fig in more that one army. Now THATS a true challenge and test of skill!

Congratulations to sascha, steven, nigel, and to all those who played words. You guys were great. I had a blast.

Rmachado, i wish i could've played you. That would've been so much fun. Actually i wish i could've gone up against all the world's players. Though i wish they'd change the dice. I so hate those dice.

Seriously, the naysayers are already chomping at the bit to tear apart the new rules. I find it amusing and as long as we lose the RIGHT 50% :D I think the new rules will bring in a plethora of new players to replace them... Newbies...Yummmmmm!!! :D

Oh and congrats to all the champs this year...I'm just sorry I couldn't make it to Nats/Worlds this year to deny a couple titles ;)!!!

yo Garc....we all had fun at worlds...btw, it's easy to be loose after losing 4 matches in a row...lol...that sealed really killed my world hopes...no fig over 30 points will ruin anyone's day...lol but after that, it was just a matter of having fun, which I did....all the warlords and envoys did a fantastic job...can't wait till next year...
