I was wondering if the Pilots of the Spider pack are commons can I not use multiples of them? Like the Major that gives a +2 to the attack. If I say put him in three heavy Mechs do I then receive +6 attack. Just wondering.

The "P-" designation means they're common. However, the Major's ability will not stack on other Mechs. I believe the wording goes something like "This unit and friendly infantry and vehicles within 6″ of this unit modify their attack values by +2..." Note the absence of "Mechs within 6" of this unit."
I don't see anything preventing the modifiers from stacking on infantry and vehicles.
What? Bannson Raider's was left out so they could fit in Clan Sea Fox?!?!
Well that tears it, I'm not getting them then :p
:grin::grin::grin:
Honestly, I don't think the merc contract cards would be mattering that much to who buys it. BR was probably the only major faction they could of left out without pissing off a good number of players.
Fluff wise is BR hiring right now?
Banson kidnapped, the BR faction is helping RoTS against the Ares and the Undead Pack, and other members going Merc/Gunslinger themselves.
Would BR need a Merc contract card? Would Dagger Di and Bart Bradshaw be looking to hire more poeple to manage? Granted they would be better trained and combat viable than what BR has now. But would they be willing to hire? Ask yourself those questions.
Then you decide if you want to use a Merc Contract card. They were in your AoD starter were they not?

Fluff wise I don't really care. The fact that a BR Merc Contract card exists and is still usuable, as is Dagger Di and any other old BR unit (heck, even the dead Kev Rosse is usable) means that fluff goes right out the window when playing the game is concerned*.
While the BR contract was in the AoD starter and you can rationalize it's absence due to that, the inclusion of the StormHammer/Steiner and SwordSword/Davion cards negates that since they were also redundant and could of been swapped out for Comstar and Clan Hell Horse contract cards. So arguing that it doesn't matter since the BR ones were already out in the AoD starter and every other Merc Contact was out in Vanguard (including Clan Wolf/Steel Wovles, but no BR in there...) means you agree that there is no reason why Comstar and CHH shouldn't of had their own merc contracts in the box.
Either way, the Comstar and CHH people can be pissing about being left out of the loop again. New BR players will have to get a starter (which they should of, because I cannot stress how handy it is having the rules physically infront of you in three dimensional space) to get the merc contract of get one off e-bay.
If my sarcasm wasn't evident with the :p and :grin::grin: then allow me to say it plainly: The exclusion of a BR merc card in the set will not stop me from purchasing it, it only fringes my nerves over the continuation of my favorite faction (i.e. new units with the BR logo on the dial and in their color scheme).
*I know you can agree to a scenario or game limiting these units, but that isn't the case with wizkids sanctioned events like their scenarios.

Oh your sarcasm was evident.
I just felt that adding my 2 c-bills that way was much better than a "well I quess WK is visiting the puppy farm again." I mean I already jumped at them for the cost and stats of the M1 Marksman in this set. & I've heard about the QC of this set (don't have it yet..soon I will) with the backwards missles, the missing Cap symbols on not only the M1 but a transport as well.
I do want to know. From those that have it already..Do these units need sticker dial repair? How are the heat dials on these and the Spider Mechs?

The QC of this set is abyssmal - no decals first off I was really hoping to see some wolfs dragoons decals or see some wolf spider decals but none what so ever. Also the painting is horrible my 11 year old can paint a lot better - where the spider mechs have red its kinda gives it a glossy look that is splashed over "some" of the black then rest is flat black it is just horrible I am gonna have to repaint everyone of them and I bought 2 wolf spider packs because I am a big Wolf's Dragoons fan.
All my stickers on dials seem to be fine on both the spiders packs and the gamma pack.

Wait, let me get this straight.
The figures are fine, there are no wrong arms, bodies, mismatched mechs and bases, no missing cards or mismatched cards, all the dials are correct and turn well, and the set has abyssmal quality control because the units lack decals and you're saying the paint jobs are about Wolf-Strike quality because the Wolf-Spider paint jobs are a mix of flat black and glossy black?
That's not abyssmal. Granted it's not great and it would be somethings that WK should look to improve, but it's not the end of the world or a fiasco in QC like the Undead lance.
I agree. You may have you're standards set to high HeavyGun. Long gone are the special paint jobs for LEs. While I'm disappointed that there are no decals you won't have to worry about painting over them either.
So I would rate QC (from what I've read) as Fine (4/5 rating)
But Visual Appealling (what you need to have higher to get them to sell) as Poor (2/5 rating)
And then Game Play (balance/power/usefullness) would be a third rating.
Well I didn't say anything about what else was wrong in my packs. I had to cards that are bad one has been creased or something in the press and has a big extra piece of paper in middle of card which makes it way thick, another card looks like it had a grinder go across the surface of it and the wording is unreadable on part of it. Then I had to boil water and reheat all the madcats and vultures and one thor as they were crammed in their packs badly and all their weapons and how they sat was really bad, one of the vultures was allmost laying on its side while still attached to base. And in the Gamma pack the stupid goshawks shoulder pad will not stay on. I guess when I go lay down close to a hundred dollars on three packs that maybe the quality could be better.
I also bought a pack of wolfstrike and got a marauder with no top to it (the top gun and the cooling vents), a mismatched card in the box to the mech it belongs. Granted this is wolf stike and not the wolf spiders. But let me continue.
I have been away from the game for a while and went down to my hobbie shop and dropped $300 coin for all the solaris sets, packs and what not that I did not have (think I got like 10 packs) multiple pieces in those packs where broke, missing, or extremely bent. Yes I saw the griffin wasn't attached to its base but that was the only problem I could see, One of the daishi's both arms were hanging buy threads went to turn arm and it fell off.
So maybe I am just a little hacked off at wizkids and their poor quality and when a person spends that much money I don't think we should settle for poor quality.
No we shouldn't settle. Becarefull while turning the heat dials. Almost ALL of my Solaris Mechs needed the dial popped out and glued or a little tape to make sure the end wouldn't roll up. I've repaired one and have lots to go...
So when I read that the heat dials are ok and that the right Mech is on the right dial. Yeah!! Wk got something right! Maybe the last year my standards have been knocked too low...
I agree, our expectations have been knocked down a bit. While I could rationalize why, I won't.
Bent arms and loose sholder pads are things to be upset about. As are any mishaps on the cards, though yours are the first I've heard of that.
Wolf Strike was plagued with everything from bad paintjobs, missing pieces/figures, stuck dials (heat and base), and (my personal favorite) mismatched uniques.
Which went from the production wide Liao-Bannson pilot swap to the completely insane "what is Eisenfaust doing in a WS booster?!?"
The Solaris packs had a light gear card in the medium class pack, I've seen a pack where the centurian's arm fell out, and they have messy heat dials.
The Undead Lance shipped with the medium 'mechs on the wrong bases.
So after all this, when WK produces a product with dials that work and 'Mechs on the right bases with the proper cards a round of cheers goes up. Gripe over what's been done wrong, point it out and give them reason to strive for better QC. Just don't forget to give some positive reinforcement when they finnally start doing things right.
Edit: Oh, wait I forgot about the one unit in the Gamma Regiment with transport in the name on the dial but no Capacity on it. So, there's a ding.
