Now that, i definately agree with...

I think (and hope) VS. will be a very nice mixture of the speed and suspence YuGiOh with the wide-open capabilty of Magic, while at the same time improving on each of their shortcomings.

I gathered from the start that this was/is the main focus of UDE with VS., alongside the "comic book" feel.

I'm impressed so far...:)

There's room for 278 players in the Championship tourney. I'll bet that every seat is filled;)

I plan on playing VS. in full force at Origins. Maybe a bit of clix and a few seminars (like "Origins of a Card Game") will distract me, but otherwise I'll be packing heat in card form. :)

or is it too early to pre-register? I see I can buy the badge now, but the site does not list the Marvel VS. tournament yet.

-blink- the Marvel tourneys are listed. Go to search events under CCGs and Marvel TCG. One spot's already been filled.

Click on 'search for events'

Drag 'event type' down to 'Tradeable/Collectible Card game' and 'game system' to 'Marvel TCG' (it's pretty far down, near the bottom)

Click on 'search available events' and voila! you should have the sched...

Look at all those chances! Thanks. I was going straight to "Events" on the left of the page. I will be registered by the end of the day. How many of these things will I have time for? Is it humanly possible to do all 26 tournaments?

Nope, it's not possible. I actually checked and it looks like some coincide with others. :p

If you want to play the championship, I'd guess it will take most of the day...

with 248 players, will take a long time.

The win-a-box is 64 players.

The others are only 4 players.

Unless they plan to have multiple rounds, that seems like it could be done in less than an hour. It remains to be seen how fast a game will play. I will register for three or four per day.

The rules look keen as funk, this is gonna be great.
