Not necessarily, there are a few Superman villains that can fit in there:
- Anomaly
- Arclight
- Atomic Skull
- Barrage
- Baud
- Black, Manchester
- Blaze
- Bloodthirst
Yeah, Atomic Skull was always interesting. It'd be nice to see him.
Anyway, big news everyone. Danny Mandel confirmed via e-mail that the Superman set's starter was scrapped, which means there probably isn't a 7 drop Supes.
I suspect we'll be getting 4 Supermen (Red at 3, Clark Kent at 4, Kal-El at 6, and Man of Steel at 8), and the Team Superman 7 drop will be Wonder Woman.
Based on what we know Upper Deck's giving us so far, this line up seems pretty likely, except for the second Toyman; I just thought I'd stick him in there. :p
065: Doomsday: Armageddon Creature
066: Encantardora
067: General Zod
068: Gog
069: Hank Henshaw <> Cyborg
070: Hope and Mercy
071: Jack Nimball <> Toyman
072: Lex Luthor
073: Lex Luthor
074: Lex Luthor
075: Massacre
076: Maxima
077: Metallo
078: Mongal
079: Mongul: Tyrant of Warworld

I don't think so. It'd be kinda redundant to have both him and Strange Visitor in the set since she got the energy powers after Superman changed back to normal. Plus, four versions of Supes is enough for anyone, I'd say.
I think Superman, Blue is a given with Superman, Red already revealed. It wouldnt make sense to put one in without the other.
I figure 5 Supermans is probably a safe bet.
I also fully expect Luthor's high drop to be an 8, version: President of the United States. Possibly a 7, but I think it has a good chance of becoming an 8.

Who are you, and what have you done with the real Bizarro #98? :p
Seriously, we've never seen more than four of any one character per set. Wolverine on Marvel Origins, Nightwing in DC Origins, and Spider-Man in WoS. History seems to be pointing towards only 4 versions of Superman.

I'm not so sure. Unlike Blue, Superman Red was distinctly different in personality than regular Supes, and as I said before, Strange Visitor really is Superman Blue by a different name.
