Originally posted by Kergillian Much to my chagrin, no. I would have LOVED to do the art reqs for it, but they had a separate crew for that set...
Bah, the next set is going to be my favorite team-wise since MOR, it'd be nice to have had someone who really loves comics in there, making sure they do the galactic MU right.
So are you/did you work on LOSH, or scheduled for the next, unnamed Marvel expansion? (please be Hulk please be Hulk)

schizophrenia:
Ongoing:Whenever a character you control named Hulk becomes stunned, you may search your deck for a character card named Hulk.Reveal it and place it in your hand.Shuffle yous deck.
You may K.O. target character named Hulk you control. If you do place a character named Hulk with a lower cost than the card you K.O.ed into play.
I know....don't hold my breath.:p
P.S.
Would a Spider-hulk card be out of the question for this set?:p
You Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry
2 Threshold Plot Twist Ongoing: KO a stunned character you control named Hulk --> You may place a character card named Hulk into play from your hand, stunned, if that character's cost is less than or equal to the number of resources you control plus one.
I just want a Hulk deck that is basically a one-man army. Kinda like X-Statix, but you know, better. A 1-drop Hulk that gets bigger and can't be targetted by effects would be awesome!
Besides, Planet Hulk is going on right now, which is a fairly big story arc for Marvel, so I'd be surprised and disappointed if they didn't keep the trend with using current storylines for sets.
ONly recruit Hulk if you already control a character named Hulk, and you only control one character. When you recruit Hulk, KO all other characters you control.
Then each turn you can bring out a bigger Hulk, and his stats could be impressive since there will only be one of him each round.
I think the X-Statics theme with a lone Hulk coudl be a great deck actually. The recover and ready effects, the non targetting effects, all of them... great ideas for a Hulk theme. And the Hulk theme coudl focus it a bit better to be a mroe consistent deck.
Also... one drop coudl have the Identity Bruce Banner, and 2 drop could be David Banner.. both have the version Doctor Banner...
Calming the Rage
Plot Twist, Threshold 2...
KO a character named Hulk you control and gain endurance equal to it's cost. If you do, and you control no characters, you may put a character card with the version Dr Banner into play in your front row, ready.
Well from my perspective UDE missed out on this one. The card I was most looking forward to was Superboy Prime. I imagined him being a complete badass and I wouldve loved to see a card with him in his power armor standing over all he had defeated. When I saw the card I thought somthing was horribly wrong, I checked it over and over asking my friend if he was sure that this was the only Superboy in the entire set.
Originally posted by Kergillian You know what? I don't think Superboy is as big a 'villain' as everyone is making him out to be. His 'continuity punch' is integral, but that's not part of his 'villainry' and could just as easily be represented by a PT. As for his villainry, at this point he's no more important than Spectre, VU-Alex, Brother Eye or any of the OMACs. Even Max Lord. He's just another cog in the giant plot.
The only character who is absolutely essential is Alex.
If you made a movie of this set, I don't think Superboy Prime would be played by Frank Symkeweicz ( a nobody).
He's definitley a piece of this storyline that most people who have been following it were willing to see represented correctly. I haven't read any of this storyline, but from what I can discern from what people are writing on this forum, he's obvioulsy more important than an OMAC robot.
