Sorry, but does anyone even playtest this game anymore?
That's what happens when you have a stupid release schedule like VS. It doesn't need 4 sets a year of 220 cards. That's a fact.
Anyone can say "that's a fact".
"I think that 4 sets a year is too much ... and I'm not going to support the argument at all. Therefore it's a fact!"
Umm ... yeah ...
They have 2 choices: 2 sets a year, or 4 sets a year. Neither DC nor Marvel are gonna put up with getting the shaft in respect to each other. 2 sets per year would stagnate things, especially as Modern eras would seem especially stagnant, and people would be doing the SAME sealed for 6 months at a time, etc, etc, etc ...
Could the sets be smaller? Perhaps ... but there's no 'obvious/factual' correlation that they would catch the errors easier if there were less cards. Considering a large chunk of many sets are "sealed pack filler" ... in the way of attack pumps that will only be used in sealed, are team stamped, or will see play in Modern and possible Silver Ages ...

It needs designers who aren't stupid who will playtest their ideas,
Umm ... there are designers and there are developpers. The latter are the ones that 'develop' the cards ... which includes the playtesting. The person that designed the card is probably the least likely person to playtest their idea.
If they DESIGNED the card to fill a certain function ... and it ends up being used in a completely different way ... the design they had in mind would likely BLIND them to the combo in the first place.
Now, some things are just inexcusable [the Stilt Man mirror match loop ... how could that have been missed?] but odds are they aren't going to catch everything.
Ultimately, it's a matter of opinion. Some people would rather err to the side of 'more powerful' and then errata/ban if things get out of control ... instead of making another Spider-man/Superman set ...

For an infinite loop to crop up at all is inexcusable; for it to crop up this late into the game's existence - after all the other nonsense that has been created such as Dr Light and Fate artitifacts - is absolute stupidity incarnate.
Yes ... it's STUPIDITY to not notice something when looking at hundreds of card interactions for various sets.
It's often LATER in a game's existence that combinations of cards combine to form problematic combos ... because it's harder to connect EVERY combination on a limited ammount of time and with a limited number of people.
BTW ... Infinite Crisis was possibly under-playtested because DC was very strict about who could work on it, everyone being under non-disclosure agreements, etc ... which ultimately means even less people than normal were playtesting. It's understandable for something to slip through ... but they should be willing to do something about it.
Expecting 100% efficiency out of ANYTHING is stupid incarnate.
That is why no one actually has requirement documents that say "this must work 100% of the time, without fail, never having a bug or a problem ever".
And if it does ... it's WAY more important than a CCG, it's WAY more expensive than a CCG, and the consequences should it fail are WAY more dangerous than losing a game ...
This deck can be countered - What they need to do is look at the broken CL/SP combo deck. Crimepact is so broken. And it runs Stiltman so it beats this deck pretty well.

Darling, your fragile sticker must have fallen off again.
If the Parademon combo is worrying you, just play AGL. It doesn't even need Enemies.

Hey, the fragile thing is still there ! And should I be worried that you called me darling ? You're a married man, ain't ya Stu ?
But in all seriousness, I'm not all that worried about everything, because UDE has been good about this sort of thing in the past . But, it's hard not to admit that there has been an uproar over all sorts of things post Frisco, and well, I just hope somebody will let us know they are listening.

(I had better get back to the topic at hand, Longshot just called Left and Right.)
Frosty, lean up to your computer screen. Real close. Closer.
They are listening!!!
