I actually like the Jason Todd Robin. I started running him in my GK deck as a backup and he's been doing well. Tim definitely needs some sort of detective ability. A built-in Utility Belt effect sounds pretty sweet to me.

The Question is a must. I would also like The Birds of Prey as a sub-team. Oh, and Hitman!

The problem is that we already have two Birds of Prey that I can think of:
3 Drop Barbara Gordon and 4 Drop Huntress, both from the Starter Deck. If they do a sub-team they would have to find some other way to mark them.

I would personally like to see them Gotham Knights/Birds of Prey dual affiliated. That would allow for a lot of cool tricks, and it would be in flavor since they tend to work toward thier own ends and aren't necesarily relegated to Gotham.

They can still give us a Black Canary with the BoP version plus the Birds have a couple new members with Shiva and (I believe) Gypsy now on the roster. It would be a small subteam but I think it could work out nicely.

How about some sort of discarding-for-effect ability for the Robins? Kinda like Phantom Stranger or Huntress in Crisis, although not neccessarily a pump or a fizzle. I like the idea of Batman's sometimes-disposable sidekicks being able to give him other bonuses when discarded from hand.

And looking at the neat things they're doing with Cosmic in HoG, I wouldn't even mind it if Team Superman revisited Cosmic as well, though I'd rather see some exploration of the whole 'protection' theme.

RE Discarding Effects: Gotham Knights has a few discarding effects and I think more would be a problem for the team.

I wouldn't mind seeing an X-Statix type theme surrounding the new Team Superman team. Ultimately it's really just Superman on the team anyway.

Carrie Kelly is who you're thinking of. Yeah, she would be awesome, but I guess they're not doing Elseworlds? Could UDE be planning a whole set devoted to Elseworlds comics or are they just ignoring them completely? (I hope not since some of my favorite D.C. comics are Elseworlds)

And yes, Question needs to be in this set.

- Agreed. Tim is arguably the most skilled of the Robins. While less naturally athletic than Dick, he is more skilled in detective work and technology than Dick was as Robin. And post OYL, his combat skills have never been better. I want a really imposing Tim Drake.

- Also agreed. The current version of Jason as Robin is perfect. If we get a Jason as Red Hood (and I assume we will) I'd like it to be Inmates or unaffiliated. We could, however, get a Jason as Nightwing. That'd be an interesting GK card.

- Spoiler has two versions (plus a third as Robin). I don't see a need for another Steph.

- I'm sure there will be some versions of Dick Grayson. Dick as Batman would be extra cool.

Plus you could have some Birds of Prey members who are not GK:

Gypsy
Lady Blackhawk
Blue Beetle
Catwoman
Power Girl

Some of them could arguably be GK. But I'd love to see a Birds mini-team.

This thread has gotten pretty GK-centric already. If anything, I'm more excited to see Team Superman get a second chance since they needed it worse than anyone.

I wouldn't mind seeing them improve TS' cosmic theme to bring it on par with what is being done in Heralds. But I still maintain that this mechanic just doesn't fit the flavor of Team Superman very well. Most members of Team Superman have pretty much the same powers. And they don't tend to get shut off unless they are exposed to Kryptonite.

I would like to see less of a focus on cosmic and less of a focus on the Super-clone theme.

I'd like to see more done with the invulnerability, character movement and protection themes. I personally like that you have really good low-drop support characters like Lois and Lana who need to be protected by Supes. I'd like to see that expanded on with even better versions of the support characters and rewards for keeping them protected.

Also, Team Supes has some good locations. But there are some that really need work. Metropolis is outdated now. The Fortress of Solitude was never very good. Plus there really ought to be a Krypton (the cost to play it should be some kind of self-replacement effect) and a Smallville.

As opposed to having a board full of Supermen, I'd really like to see a variety of characters. I already mentioned playable support characters like Lois, Jimmy and Perry. Then there are the established Team Superman members like Superboy (may he rest in peace) Supergirl and Steel. Not to mention some of the forgotten guys like Alpha Centurion, Scorn and Eradicator. Finally, I think TS is the perfect team for guest stars like Powergirl and Wonder Woman.

I would love to see TS really done right.

Based on the X-Men set we probally wont see much of the old themes, as there will probally be totally new themes for this set, like brotherhood had its reservist theme etc.

so, the question is what themes should they have now?
i think we can rule out cosmic from Team Superman, i hope they wouldnt make that mistake twice.

Even though Red Hood is out for himself, he's still a vigilante and could be considered a Gotham Knight. They considered Azrael, so why not? Plus, who's that chick that Red Hood stuck his knife through her shoulder after they busted up some baddies. A Jason Todd Nightwing would be fitting too.

I think a One Man Show sub-theme would be pretty cool because Superman is basically a one man show anyway.

World's Finest as a team? Maybe not a team but I'm hoping there's some synergy between GK and TS. We should see another Bizarro and hopefully Batzarro. We could also get another Mr. Mxy.
